Anybody know what your number was after the test. I am just trying to figure out what is normal. My midwife said it was fine, but just wanted to compare it to others.

Mine was 88. It was the 2 hour test with the 1 hour blood draw.

ETA-I messed up on my test

I haven't done the fasting with 2 hour, I did the "drink that gross stuff, and have your blood taken 1 hour later". test...

And no one gave me my results just told me they were fine. I am guessing Karen and Dee might know...I am sure they will weigh in tonight when they log in.

My first blood draw after the fasting period was 79. I don't remember what it was after drinking the syrup and having it drawn over the next couple hours. I hope that helps.

My fasting # was 78. I was surprised at that. I ate and went back 2 hrs later (no drink) and my #'s were 92. Thats what they want to see..

My test consisted of fasting for 12 hours - going into the office, drinking the YUMMY drink, waiting one hour (no eating or drinking in between), then blood work.

My result # was 78.

I also did the 1 hour test and I believe the numbers should come back under 130/140 but we can double check with Karen. My number came back at 203. Which was very high!

I did the fast for I think it was 3 hrs, then drink the stuff and bloodwork 1 hr later,
my numbers were basically borderline at 133.
the docs and my mom that works for Quest Diagnostics... told me that anything under 130 is good... it used to be 140, but they lowered it to 130. they didn't schedule me for a 3hr,,, they just told me to chill out with the sweets and if I start to get an overflow of sugar in my urine tests then they'll do more tests

so basically ur numbers are fine Smile

I haven't had a glucose test since 2002, with my 3rd dc. I don't remember cut off numbers, lol! With my 4th dc and this one, my ob just had me start testing myself and when my numbers were high we started treatment.

I would assume they would follow the standard cut off numbers. Under 95 for fasting, under 120 for 2 hours later. Your 78 is nice & low!

I just got mine today...103, I think she said. They didn't ask me to fast either...but they said it was fine.
