going for my glucose test today...

@ 2:15...i called them and asked if i have to fast and they said no...i dont know who tells patients that...They said they just dont suggest eatting a candy bar on the way over...so today im not having any sugar...im drinkin OJ and water, eating a egg mcmuffin from mcdonalds and fruit...and then dont know what im gonna eat for lunch then to the test!!! Im very nervous i didnt fail with my son but its still scary

I just had a piece of plain whole wheat toast and a few sips of water before my 1hour glucose. I passed!!

I hope you do as well. If you don't, don't lose hope, it is common not to pass the first but pass the 3 hour (its just a harder test to take).

Try bringing an engaging book or music with you to get through the hour especially when sugar low hits around 30-40 minutes.
