eight babies, anyone?

well nothing I've read has said anything about a boyfriend...just that she was single. I wonder if they consider her single because she's not married but there is a man in her life?

All of it is guess work since she's not speaking out about it yet.

Angela Suleman, her mother, disclosed to the LA Times today that her daughter had embryos implanted last year and "they all happened to take". Despite doctors giving her an opportunity to selectively reduce the number, she refused.

I don't know how I feel about reducing, but eight is a little extreme. I wonder why they put so many in her. They usually just put in a few at the most. Unless some split on their own. I still think it is nuts!

The article on CCN eludes to a husband or boyfriend, but that he is heading back to Iraq shortly, so he won't be there to help, he is a contract worker. They don't say he is the husband or boyfriend, but they call him the father.

I just can't believe a doctor would implant her with 8, that seems wrong. I am wondering if they were just going for the publicity...Jon and Kate make it seem doable, they get paid a ton to do the show, neither of them work, the Duggars have a show, etc.

I'm sorry, but 14 kids????? That is just crazy and IMHO irresponsible!! And a bit unethical if you ask me....but since no one did, I'll get off my soapbox now.

The other 6 were 4 individual pregnancies and one set of twins.

The guy who is going to Iraq is actually the grandfather- not the father. The way they wrote that was weird, but I read this in the LA times, and it was written clearer. The grandfather is going to Iraq to make more money for the family (or just to be out of the house- I think its probably the latter)

Well I am hoping that the Dr only put in 4 embroy's and the split to make the 8.

Like the Gosselin's with the twins she implanted 2 embroy's and got twins. The second time they implanted 3 wanting triplets and they all split(one split again, but they lost number 7) and ended up with the 6.

As much I as I love my kids I really do not think I would be able to carry more than 2. I mean this one is killing.

I think this family is going after some $$$$.

I read today that this woman has 6 other children! Ouch!

I just seen where the grandfather told reporter that they had another house, it was huge for all of them to live in and they will live a peaceful life WITHOUT the media!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!! I think they are out to get everything they can for free!!! How is the HELL could someone buy 7 or 8 carseats.... and cribs for that many... WOW!! I am going to say they don't have anything for the babies and hoping that someone will feel sorry for her and give her everything. I had to add my 2 cents in.

I agree too. I think they are looking for their own show or something. I agree with Lacie. They are looking for handouts, free education, free products, etc. Sad that you have to get it by birthing a litter of children!! Didn't she think that 6 was enough??? Where is the father in all of this?

ALL 14 CHILDREN through IVF - are you kidding me? Never been married...obsessed with children...and she got paid for it, not sure what that means, but that was a comment she made to someone that was quoted in the article.

The only thing in this article that makes me feel a little better is that her Doctor didn't implant 8, they multipled, so now I no longer want to track that Doctor down and smack them.

What a shock that she wants $$$! Who the hell do you think are going to take care of all those children??? We the taxpayers....imagine that! That is so irresponsible in my opinion! It is sad to think someone is literally selling their children. OK...I am done now!
