Re: babies at 37 weeks??
My dr. says 37 weeks is fine. He actually said he'd try to "help things along" on Monday when I turn 37 weeks, during the exam. When I had my first baby they stripped my membranes and I went into labor that day so hopefully it works. Although I feel like she's about to fall out today

Re: babies at 37 weeks??
Well I will give you my game plan that I was going to start Monday, but now that my grandpa is sick I don't know if I will be able to make a go of it.
1. ENEMA-to clean self out
2. Caster Olil drink every 2 hours-
3.Spicey food for dinner-buffalo wings, hot chilli etc
4.Walk around the mall or outside if nice
5.SEX SEX AND MORE SEX
Fill free to use it. Oh and yes that is the order I was doing it in. Wait at least a few hours after the enema to start the castor oil.

MsButterfli, you are not alone! All these babies are going to be walking and talking by the time ours arrive! No, not really, but it feels like it. Hopefully we won't have to go to 40 weeks (or more! ) and we can join in the fun.

Yep yep..right there with you, ladies! I was hanging in pretty good...until my ankles began to swell to the size of my thighs a few days ago. Now I want him out! I'm SOOO jealous of all the February mommies!

Re: babies at 37 weeks??
Oh I am so with you ladies on wanting this baby out around 37 weeks. I'm anxious to find out if baby is a boy or a girl. I'm so sick of being on insulin and all the shots and finger pokes. Baby is a good size according to u/s, but I still worry about him/her getting too big due to the gd. I want to be able to eat what I want to eat, not follow the gd diet. And of course, I'm ready to get rid of the aches & pains.
Sex for me has just brought on sciatic pain, so that sucks. Spicy foods don't agree with my stomach, so I'll wait a while longer to have any of those. I don't really want to go the castor oil route, but am tempted by a milkshake made with it. Starting Monday, I'll be going to my parents and we'll go to their clubhouse and use the treadmill, and maybe if I can handle it I'll try the elliptical for a little bit too. I don't want my membranes stripped, did that the first pg and it hurt like a SOB and had no effect, but maybe there is something else my ob can do in there at my next internal to help move things along.

Re: babies at 37 weeks??
Even with all these February birthdays, I keep thinking about the remaining *early* March mommies we have...and how it must be torture to be so close to your due dates and have all these babies coming around you. April, I don't know how you're doing it, especially with so many pregnancies under your belt. You'd think you could count on some pattern of them being early or late, but every pregnancy really is different.
The good news is, they all have to come out eventually! Hopefully there won't be any that wait until April to bloom.

Alyssa was born at 37 weeks 2 days and she is perfectly healthy. She was a good birth weight and length....37 wks is considered full term. I know I was so tired and aggrivated with being pregnant when I went into labor. I feel all of your pain. Good luck ladies!! I hope to see some action VERY SOON out of all of you!!

Re: babies at 37 weeks??
My dr. told my husband and I last week, "If you want to have this baby soon, have sex....lot's of sex!!" So now my hubby keeps saying, "Dr's orders..wink wink". I'm like OH GEEZ I just can't seem to muster up the energy. haha. But if I'm not dialated any on Monday we'll be doing it like rabbits.

I had Uriah at exactly 37 weeks and he is perfectly fine! A little Jaundice for the first week but noe major problems. The funny thing is that with both of my children sex is exactly what made me go into labor LOL...only this time it was immediate!
