Ok update on my Appt today

So I went in today for my 2 week appt. I am measuring at 35 weeks. I am going back on the 1/27 to get an ultra sound for size. They said depending on how that goes (if he is measuring big) they will start doing weekly ultra sounds so he will not get to big.

If he is super big next appt they are going to check his lungs and see if they are ready. That way they can just track his weight and when needed I can be put in the hospital. Which could meake me Feb 09 mom

If he is right on track they said I am still looking at first week of March induction. That way he won't be super huge and right around 7-8lbs.

Now I did get preggers with an IUD, so I could be a couple weeks further along anyway. I guess time will tell.

Keep us posted, its amazing how they all grow so differently...

Why in the world is my OB not worried about me having another overweight first grader? Can your OB call my OB and recommend some extra Ultrasounds for me too?

Dont worry Jamie- we wont throw you off the board for becoming a Feb 09 mom. We will still love you.

This will be my 3rd ultra sound. Kinda hoping they tell me his penis fell off and there is a va-ja-ja. I know I am bad, but damn it I have a closet full of clothes that I can not bear to get rid of.

Well off to help me croupie child and his barking cough.

Jamie.. I have to say i think this is the first time i can remember that i didnt measure ahead. But like you said with the IUD you really dont know. DH just said.. ahha! Thats why im getting fixed and your NOT getting the IUD! lol

Im glad you have an ob who is keeping an eye on things. Im sure there will be a few feb moms on here. Me being due March 3rd, i could very well be feb too.

I will more than likely be a Feb. Mom too Jamie. My doctor is talking about a Feb. 24 induction, due to the fact that my labors lasted FOREVER with DD. Two days...I don't want to go through that again! Good luck. I am glad to know your doctor is keeping a good check on things for you. I have an U/S at my 35 week appt to check the size of my baby.

OBX - I will likely be induced on the 24th too, our little ones will hopefully have the same Birthdays...(here is to hoping you have your child on the same day you go into labor, unlike the last two....you little superhero...).
