Kellie, was your 16M old a big baby? My OB said as long as its within 3cm (so 3 weeks) they consider that normal, but I am guessing once you reach the 3cm mark they start to track you a little more closely?

I was measuring 2-3cm ahead a few weeks ago but now I am back to 0-1cm ahead. My pediatrician said she doesn't put a lot of weight in the measurements since they aren't consistent, they don't mark where they measure from so that its consistent every week, etc. Who knows.

Jamie,

I can't wait to see if they are right about your baby's size. I just don't believe they really know unless they use an U/S to verify. With my DD I didn't measure big at all, was even 1cm small most of the time, the day I was induced my OB predicted that my DD would be 8-8.5lbs, out she popped at 10lbs 9oz, they were WAYYYYY off. Are they going to do another U/S for you to check the size? My OB said that anything within the 3cm smaller or bigger range is considered normal, but once it hits 3cm they do more checks, I am guessing she meant via U/S.

P.S. My DH just tapped College Road Trip, AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL. Don't waste your time watching it.
