Just got back from Labor & Delivery Triage...ugh

Hey girls...

I went to bed last night with pain in my groin area. So I figured it would go away when I laid down. no, not so much. Then I woke up with the pulling pain in the middle of the night. It just didn't stop the rest of the night. So I called the doctors office as soon as they opened this morning and wanted me to go to L&D Triage. So off I go to the hospital. I'm having SEVERE round ligament pain made worse by the abdominal surgery I had in January as the ligaments are pulling the scar tissue that formed after the surgery.

How come no one told me about this pain?? I knew about round ligament pain but no one mentioned how awful it would be with the surgery. UGH. I can take Tylenol...I might as well just take some sugar pills. So I suffer. Wah.

The good news is that I'm not having contractions, my cervix is closed tight and is long and the heartbeat was nice and strong.

I need a nap.

I am glad everything is fine with the baby and I am so sorry that Momma has to suffer. Wow that sounds extremely painful!

wow, i feel your pain,, last week i was in the hospital with pain on my lower right side.. the did ultrasounds to check my ovary but they couldnt find it since baby got everything all squished up n moved around. everyone said round ligament pain but one dr wanted to make sure it wasnt my appendix. so i was admitted and had to wait for a MRI 2pm the next day...i got to the ER 11pm the night before and had no food since then..but all to find out it was round ligament pain after all, i was happy and relieved but they told me to go get this belly brace to help support our growing bellies and the strain from the ligaments pulling. Im going to hit the mall later today.. nothin but rest helps us hope u feel better

Oh wow, I'm glad it was nothing worse.. I mean the baby is still ok. what a scare!!
