I had my 36 week check yesterday

My appointment was cool. The doctor said I looked good.

Weight Gain so far: the scale said 176lbs I believe I started somewhere between 145-150
Blood Pressure: normal
Belly measurement: 36 1/2
Dialation/Effacement: nothing, I was really wishing LOL
Urine: normal
Next appt: 02/10/09
Tests: none
Baby's sex: Boy all the way
Baby's name: Donovan Dewaun-el McCrae
Other:-I just can't wait, I have 21 days to go....

Wow 21 days - that is just 3 weeks away AND GUESS WHAT...that is my BIG day too. February 24th...I can't believe its only 21 days away, I didn't even do the math until I saw you post 21 days and then counted forward to see when you were going to have your Little Man...

Thank you, it took us some time to decide, since our first son is Dévon Dowhu McCrae we wanted to stay with the double dd but it still had to have a good meaning. Thanks again. Do you have a name picked out?

Yes I am scheduled to go in and I can't wait. How about you? At first I wanted to try a VBAC but then I realized it didn't really matter to me. Are you ready? I think I am...at least I hope I am.

Crystal - I am just being induced, normal vaginal delivery is planned, unless of course something unforseen happens. I am "ready" to HAVE her but our house isn't ready for her yet...HA.

What does little Donovan Dewaun-el's name mean? Also how do you pronounce Devon's middle name? I keep hearing it in my head as rhyming with yoohoo! Both cute choices though! I wish my hubby would let me pick out some slightly more original names...he's boring.

Donovan means dark warrior, Dewaun means the grace of God, -el is an ancient sumerian title of God, and of course McCrae means son of Rae. You must know that these names came from my most worthly husband, LOL. I just like that all the names have good meanings. Oh and you pronounce Dowhu as Dah-hoo, it's a variation of Dawoud which is arabric, and means blessed, its the prophets name of David.

Tentatively....Feb 24 is my day too. Three weeks seems so close!!
