Since we are all getting so close I figured each week I would start a new thread.

Weight Gain so far: Way too much!!!!! I can't believe it, I have been eating so good and exercising every day. I am too embarrassed to say.
Blood Pressure: Good
Belly measurement: They never check but I know I am running big.
Urine:great!
Next appt:January 23 w/Dr.
Tests: Gd came back good, but I am anemic
Baby's sex: It's another boy!
Baby's name: Have no idea
Other: I am hoping to schedule my c/s at my next apt. I want a date on the calender!

I went to the Dr last week and I dont have a visit until next week so I will post from last wed~

Weight Gain so far: 29lbs! I lost a pound somehow??
Blood Pressure: normal??
Belly measurement: 30cm
Urine: didnt have to give a sample this time! Although I am willing at any moment!
Next appt: January 22 - hopefully we will get an ultrasound, the Dr is gonna try to sneak us in!

Other: We started our first Bradley class last week. It was interesting, we will see how it goes. The teacher has a 3 month old and popped her boob out in the middle of class and started breastfeeding. I am all for breasfeeding so I didnt mind but I think DH was a bit squirmy lol i had to laugh. I am excited to go natural, but I also know if i need a c-section or anything is wrong im not afraid if it doesnt go as planned! As long as i have a healthy baby boy that is all that matters!

Other: Two week appointments start, baby is head down, I have birthing classes coming up soon, and I will be 33 weeks tomorrow! Woo! Not happy about my weight gain, I really have to watch it in the next few weeks..

Shannon - they don't measure you? How do they know how you are measuring? Isn't that how they guage how the baby is growing?

Oh yeah, and I will post tomorrow after my OB appointment...

My N.P. sucks. I have not been measured once. I had a big baby last time (9.9) so you think that they would keep track.

Good gracious, I would think so too...mine is a measuring fool since my DD was a small child when she was born.

Mine has not pulled out a measuring tape or anything.... I can't remember if he did with previous preg or not... hmmm
but he can tell by feeling. so eventhough they don't actually 'measure' i guess they can tell especially if they've been practicing for a long time.
I know my doc says that I am measuring about a week or two ahead because I have had a baby before

My doc said that he should be able to give a semi good estimate of the size the baby is at my 36 week appt
I hope this one isn't bigger than my other 2... the were 7.12 1/2 and 7.7 I don't think I can handle a baby bigger than that!!!!!

HAHA Those are good size babies! My biggest babies were 8 7 and 8 11. I know LGTWifey had a BIG baby too! What are you saying small? lol My smallest baby was 6 15 then 7 13, 7 6, and hopefully this one will be in the low 7's range. The weight doesnt bother me as much as the head circumfrance sp?. My kids all had 14 1/4" heads and shoulders!!! OUCHERS!!! My next apt is Wed so I will post my stats then. I know i have gained 40 lbs so far though..

Other: I asked the doctor to check my cervix at my appt. yesterday. She didn't want to becasue she thought it was too early but she did anyways. The baby has completly dropped and my cervix is thinned but not dialated yet. She is hopping the baby will stay in for another 2 and a half weeks. I am confident she will

I also had my 4D ultrasound done on 1/9. She has big chuncky cheeks and full lips. Oh and lots of hair. (Who knew they could see hair in an ultrasound pic?) The gave me a cd with 152 pictures so I won't post them all but I will post some of my favorate.

I don't know how much trust I put in the measurements and the doctors feeling around...I never measured ahead with my DD (10lbs 9oz) and on the day she induced me she felt around and said "I am predicting a 8lb baby"....ummmm, she was 2+lbs off...and she is a great OB, well respected and highly ranked here in Richmond...so I just don't know. Some OB's don't believe the U/S's either, but my friends that have had them right before delivery were very accurate...

My appt was last night. I didn't like the nurse or the doctor that I saw. I'm pissy today today.

Weight Gain so far: 13lbs (up 3 from 12/31)
Blood Pressure: 132/80 (it was slightly elevated and she said she'd retake it but didn't)
Belly measurement: He measured with his hands instead of a tape measure so I didn't get the numbers...see why I didn't like this guy
Urine: fine...no protein this time
Next appt: 1/29
Tests: none
Baby's sex: Male

Other: They scheduled the next months worth of appts last night since my c-section is only 7 weeks away. SO I go on 1/29, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23. Every week..yikes.

My Babie were pretty much the same.

#1 was 6 days late at 7lbs 13 oz 20 inches
#2 was 4 days late at 7lbs 11 oz 19 3/4 inches
#3 was 1 week early at 8lbs 8 oz 21 1/2 inches

Now they told me on an u/s that number 3 was about 11 pounds the day before I had him. So I also take those with a grain of salt. Now that being said I will not be surprised if this baby is close to 10lbs.

Other: I will start my internals next appointment, that will be at 35 weeks, she said she will induce me at 39 weeks unless something happens before then...like I go on my own, or my BP goes up...then she would induce earlier. I was hoping for a "teen" birthday, like Feb 19th, but it looks like it will likely be the 24th as long as my husband hasn't changed jobs by then, if he has, then it might be as late as the 26th or 27th so he doesn't have to take much time off to be in the hospital with me.

Weight Gain so far: up 3 lbs. total weight gain is 15 lbs.
Blood Pressure: 130/78
Belly measurement: 34 weeks
Urine: no problems
Next appt: Jan 28...then every week appts.
Tests: None this time..thank goodness everything is good.

Other: I am getting another u/s in three weeks to determine size. I am measuring 34 weeks!

Tests: NST-today's test went perfectly. Doctor said the baby sounds wonderful!!!

Other: Doctor says that he is guessing Jake weighs about 4 1/2 pounds. At 36 weeks we will see about an ultrasound if he thinks the baby is to big. If we are looking at a 10 pound baby then I will have a c-section. Also, at 36 weeks he will start checking my cervix. He told me these last few weeks because of my diet that I shouldn't gain any weight. I am still struggling with my blood sugar levels. I have my good days and my days. Just doing the best that I can.

Other: I am getting another u/s in two weeks to determine size. I am measuring the same as I was at my last appt. (29 weeks)

I just had an appointment this morning so I figured I'd add to the list!

Gestational Age: 30 weeks
Weight Gain so far: Not going to admit out loud but it is more then 40, yikes!!!!
Blood Pressure: Normal
Belly measurement: 34 cm, guess it should be 28-30 cm so measuring big
Urine: Haven't had it tested since I became pregnant
Next appt: Jan 29
Tests: Growth scan u/s on the 29th and Feb 4th
Baby's sex: Boy
Baby's name: Brayden James
Other: Dr. said I'm measuring big so she checked my fluid levels via u/s, I have a lot of fluid but not too much that there is concern. She thinks this could be the reason for my measurement being off a bit. To be safe she scheduled me a growth scan u/s to check baby's size and I go to my perinatologist on Feb 4th, also for a growth scan. So I'll get to see baby Brayden quite a bit in the coming weeks!

Yeah, I thought it was a bit strange because I was expecting it at first but I'm certainly not complaining. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that!
