I can not find any car seats that I like. What I do find that I do like only comes in the combo, and I really don't need another stroller. We have a double, 2 singles and 2 umbrella strollers. I think I am going to head out to Baby Depot and Babies R Us on valentines day. It is a good 45 minute drive from my house so I went to have dh's paycheck in case I see other things I have to have.

Ugh this is starting to get down close to the wire.

Anyway if you got just an infant carseat let me see what you got.(LINK IF POSSIBLE). I am looking for Evenflo since that is what brand my double and one single is so it will be able to snap on.

Off to make some chicken alfredo. Very Happy

We bought our carseat alone because we are getting a BOB Revolution stroller and it does not come with an infant seat. We have to get the infant seat bar attachment, but it is compatiable with Graco Snugrides.

Here's the link to ours. Maybe you could find a 'stand alone' seat you like here. Smile

Good Luck!

Hey Sarina - we LOVE our Bob, but have you considered the Graco Frame Stroller that the SnugRide snaps into? Its great for the truck and for quick shopping trips when you don't want to have to take the Bob out, or for smaller stores where the Bob takes up the WHOLE aisle. We love our BOB but rarely take it out to normal places, its more of our "day trip" stroller, and it does go to our outdoor malls, but thats about it Smile

Just my two cents Smile

We did think about it and we may end up getting the frame for that purpose, if needed. But I am an avid runner & walker, and I plan to continue doing so every day when she's born, so we really need the BOB. Also, we hike a lot in the summer and there's no way we'd be able to without the BOB. But like you said, we may end up getting the frame for the stores, etc, but we're gonna see how it goes with just the BOB first. The BOB is our big splurge item for this baby, so we'd really like to get the absolute most use out of it as possible.

But who knows, we may end up with both!!

Thank you Very Happy:D

Sarina.. Thats a nice site you linked. I am looking for a double jogger. We are walkers too.. (not runners Wink ) And we want a more all terain stroller. We have a double graco duo glider thing. Its okay but i want something easier to stroll with.

Jamie.. Good luck with your car seat choice. Have you taken a Graco car seat and tried to hook it into your strollers? I wondered if it was universal. Sorry i cant help.

Sarina - good thinking. I agree, see if you can get away with just the Bob, because it isn't cheap, but its probably the best investment we made. I know the hard part for us was when I drove our Acura TL, the trunk was so small it took up the whole thing and didn't allow me to use the trunk for anything else, so that drove our decision. Smile But now that I have the SUV I have all the room I need, so it works Smile

Yeah for hiking and all neighborhood walking and running the BOB was our best friend. Olivia is over it now, she loves her Wagon for walks in the neighborhood, but for trips the BOB always comes along.

The way the hook is on our stroller you can't use anything but Evenflo(on the single). On the double I can use pretty much any carseat. I think I found one I like at Baby Depot. However online pictures and in person can be a bit different.

Looks like a nice one. Is Baby Depot only online or is it an actual store?

Here, at least, Baby Depot is like a mini store inside Burlington Coat Factory. It's part of Burlington, but it's bigger than just a normal baby department. Very Happy

I will have to check it out. We have a Burlington here but I have never been. I am not a big shopper but it might be worth it to check it out. Are the prices good?

They have really decent sales. And there, I think it really depends on the brands you are hunting for whether or not you get "good prices." But overall, the prices are decent, and like I said, some really great sales! I absolutely LOVE Burlington though. I could spend all day in there..hehe.

We got the peg perego primo viaggio infant car seat. We were able to buy a matching stroller on craigslist, so we splurged on the seat. It comes in a bunch of colors and you can find it cheaper if you just search for the color you want on Google. Good luck!

I also got the Graco Snugride. The pattern I got is no longer on the website, otherwise I'd give you the link. We also got the snap-n-go and a jogging stroller. I love all of it!!
