What's a good price??

A question to some of you seasoned moms, what is a good price per diaper? I plan to use Pampers Swaddlers, at least at first and want to make sure I'm getting a decent deal. I recently bought a box of size 1 and it came out to be about $.20/diaper. Is that a good deal? I also saw a huge box today at Target that would have come out to be about $.19/diaper, I'm just not sure if that's normal or if it's worth it to stock up. If any of you have some input or advice I'd love to hear it. I'm all about saving a buck if I can! Thanks in advance.

I am not sure, I have been buying White Cloud for so long I haven't look at Swaddler pricing for a while but I need to get back in the mode, so I can't wait to hear what people report.

I did the calculations last night at Costco for wipes. The Costco (Kirkland Brand) came out to .022 cents per wipe and the Huggies were .023 per wipe and I like Huggies better, so it was worth it for me, the Huggies box was also bigger so it means I have to buy them less frequently.

I know I priced out Huggies Diapers at Costco vs. White Cloud and White Cloud was still a lot cheaper...

Funny thing.. i have forgotten what diapers cost these days. I just buy Luvs from BJ's. But i am buying size 5's now. I get 150 diapers for $30. When i was buying pampers on sale i would pay $7.99 for a jumbo pack. I couldnt tell ya how many were in the packs of 1,2,3's. Sorry im not much help. I just figure no matter what they cost.. they are a need. But i do look for sales and coupons.

coupons are great!!! a couple times this year I got a $4 off pampers!!! but haven't seen one in a while.
I usually buy Luvs now too, At walmart I get i think 118 - size 4 for 20.97, i think pampers baby dry is 88 - size 4 for 20.97, and I've also never had a problem with leaks, I know some people do, but Luvs have been good to us, I do like Huggies too, but every little bit helps sometimes

but as far as per diaper, when the sizes go up u get less diapers for the price.

I never had any luck with the off brands so I always used Huggies. All I would suggest is don't get the costco size 1-2 b/c they are never quite the right size (or once again it might just be my kids).

Also, call the company and ask for coupons. Huggies has something they can set up to automatically send coupons every so often.

I'm not sure. We just normally buy Pampers when we need them. To me, it's kinda like buying milk at this point...it's a necessity...you just have to do it, so I haven't really paid too much attention to price. DH bought White Cloud diapers for the first time 2 days ago and now Ava has a rash. She's only had a diaper rash twice in 2 years, so I'm guessing they don't agree with her. Darn...I was hoping to save a little $$!

You know I really never look at price. I just grab what I like which now is White Cloud from Walmart. 30 size 5's for a pack are $6.97 so .23 per diaper or a box of 90 I think is $15.97 so that is .17 per diaper.

I have bought a box of 192 pampers for 17.00 so that .08-.09 per diaper and that was because they were close out at Target.
