Crib.. good news

So, we went to go look at the crib we wanted this weekend and the floor model was 40% off!!!! Can you believe it! So we finally got our crib for $450 regularly $800! I was so excited, now we just have to buy everything else!

No sadely they are not, it was only the crib because they had it in stock. I am pretty sure they are going out of business, which is too bad because they had some really cute stuff that I can never find in the little town I live in. But my MIL swears she is gonna buy the dresser/changing table combo. But it is around 700$ so we will see...

Beautiful crib & what a deal!! I also love the dresser. I normally love dark wood (all the wood in our house is dark) .. but for some reason, with this baby we're going white. I just fell in love with our white wood crib and it set up the nursery from there. All it took was seeing the crib and I immediately changed my mind to go with the white wood.
Lucky deal though, you saved quite a bundle on that Beauty!!

So we got our crib.. yay!! But I also got this little chair! it is leather and has an ottaman. OMG i fell in LOVE with it and it was only $100!!! so I had to have it. I know Ryder cant use it until he is older but i love it more than the crib lol

I love the dresser/changing table. Do they have a floor model of the dresser in the store? Or did you say that they only had the crib? I wasn't sure what you meant by "instock".
And Sarina - I am with you, everything in our house is Dark Wood, EXCEPT our DD's room and the new Nursery. I think it might be because we are having girls. We said it we were having a boy we would have gone with either Navy Furniture or Dark Wood, but White just reminds me of a little girl, I worry though that when she is older or in high school she will want more "mature" looking furniture, but this furniture should last her FOREVER...
