woke up at 2:20am with contractions

I thought it was the baby with her back turned to the front of my belly which she likes to do a lot...but then 10 mins later i was in pain and then 10 mins later...after an hour of that i woke DH to get me water...I could not fall back asleep because they were coming every 10 mins pretty much on the dot. They would last about a minute...Then they started to come every 6-10 mins apart. Thats until about 5:30 am and now they eased up...so im going to work and have a doc appt that i had already set up at 1:15 today...so i will let her know whats going on. Im not due until March 6th thats 2 months away from today. Well thats my scheduled c-section.

That would be freaky to me. I never ever have gone into labor on my own so I would be freaking the F out and on my way to the hospital.

I am so glad they stoped. Drink water non stop. Even tho you may be working in the bathroom all day.

Well im at work and they havent stop all together but maybe 2-3 a hour instead of 6...I work for a internal medicine doc and when i told her about it she goes....they might admit you and put you on bedrest and maybe even give you a shot of magnesium. I said no i dont think so...she said danielle they are so frequent they might. I dont think its anything to worry about. DH was so worried and didnt want to go to work, but i told him go to work im going to work and lets see what happens at my appt. Im drinking so much water my pee is water...HAHA

Oh and yea i guess i didnt freak to much because with DS i was in and out of the hospital for 4 days with contractions...but i was also due in like a week with him...not 8 weeks!! i will update you ladies when i get home...

OK back from the doctor and she said that she is not to concerned because they eased up and i was able to talk through them. She did however check my cervix and i was 1 finger tip open...does these mean 1 cm dialated? She said if i have another wave to watch them and time them and if REALLY bad go to ER but if not to bad call and they will recheck me. So for now i sit and wait!! She said 2nd kid you feel them a lot more. Im glad she is not ready to come out....im not ready for her to come out...nursery still is not done!! HAHA

I dont know if they did the fetal protein test on you- but if you have to go back- ask for it. A negative result on that test is like 99.2% accurate that you will not start having real labor for at least 2 weeks.
