woke up at 2:30 am
went to bathroom and bright red blood. I put on a pad and tried to sleep some more. By 6 am it was about the same as a period. I called dr and he wanted me to goto labor and delivery. They had me there with monitors and u/s to check placenta and cervix. All still looked the same. The bleeding has stopped so they sent me home an strict bedrest. We need to keep this baby in longer so hope the bleeding stays away. My previa is still complete.

Yikes! I'm glad that things seem to be okay, even if it means you're a prisoner in your bed.
Take care of yourself!

I am so sorry to hear about your scare and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I want to tell you a story about a miracle that happened to my family but you just have to believe!!
My cousin 17 years old had tried to hide her pregnancy (not good) but didn't know how to tell he mom and dad so she tried not to gain weight. Well when she finally started to gain and actually "popped" she had no choice but to tell them. Well that caused a lot of stress not counting the stress her little one was already going through with her not eating right and it caused her to go into labor at 21 weeks. My cousin delivered her son at 21 weeks and 1 day. He weighed only 11 oz. and was 11 1/2 inches long... he stayed in the hospital for 21/2 months and got to go home. He just went for an extensive developmental test and everything came out normal... the only problem he will have is asthma!!
So, with that being said you just have to believe in miracles and know that everything will turn out to be okay! You will need lots of prayers and you will get lots of them from us!! Please keep us posted and listen to your DR about the bedrest!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. i sure do appreciate you all.
Dominicsmomma what a story. Thats so wonderfull. Ive had 3 preemies myself but surely not that tiny. What a miracle.
O4seasmom how have you been? Do you still have previa also or did your move up?
Im gonna lay around for the most part But I do have to do some things as I have a 22 month old at home during the day and all the other kids are at school and dh at work. My daughters are gonna be a big help in making Thanksgiving dinner so that will be great.

Re: woke up at 2:30 am
Andrea I am so sorry. That has to be so scarey. I know what you mean about the bedrest. With the boys I have always been on it, so I am sure I will be with this one. My dad does not do diapers so I will have to get Dylan potty trained before that. It's hard when you have kids you have to take care of.
On a side note I got my gift saturday. DH loved it and Dylan keeps showing me the shoes because they are for the baby. You are going to have to email me your address, because my ss email has gone to the black hole and I threw out your enevlope not even thinking about it.

Praying loud and often for you over here...so sorry you are going through this scare....rest as much as you can.
Re: woke up at 2:30 am
Oh that is soo scary! I hope your able to take it easy. I was on bedrest with my last pg for 13 weeks. It was strict lay flat. Luckily Logan who was also 22 mths or so was still breastfeeding and he stuck with me in bed most of the time. I was also homeschooling my kids but it worked out from my bed as well. Hang in there and follow the rules! Put those kids to work! I can say that because i have kids your kids age. HEHE
