well, the weekend was nice to see my family. They went back home Sunday at 2 pm to avoid the ice that was coming. At 8 pm i started bleeding again so back to L&D i went. All the other times have been a quick bleed and then slowly taper off to spotting. This time I continued to soak those big diaper like pads one after another. My average weight of pads were always like 5 grams and these ones were 85, 105, and 95 grams. Okay I was like freakin. They kepy taking blood to test if i needed to be transfused. baby continued to do well. Eventually by about 11 am today the bleeding stopped. I finally got to eat at 8pm tonight. Dr said if no bleeding tonight then I can go back to my room tomorrow.

Thanks for the update, you poor thing!!! I am glad that the bleeding has stopped, I hope that it stays away!!!!

well dr came in and since i have been good all night they said i could move back to my room. The nurse got wheelchairs and unhooked me from everything, i went to bathroom and my pad was soaked again. i had no idea. So im gonna have to stay here and prolly not eat all day again.

Are you not allowed to eat in case they have to give you anesthesia for something? It sounds like you're going through a terrible time, but I know your baby is worth it. Is there anything in particular you could use to pass the time? Puzzle books or regular books or some other hobby? I'd love to send something your way to help.

Andrea I am so sorry. I got so happy when you said you were moving back to your room, then your next post. I really don't know how you do it.

I don't know if you saw my other post on the other thread so I wanted to re-post it.

Do you have a cd player there or can you get one? If so give some songs you like and who sings them and I will make you a cd to go in you package.
Your Nov will be in the box wrapped and then your Dec will just be in the box. I am going to try and time it so you get around Christmas. I think I am just going to send it to your house becasue I don't want it to get returned or lost. Oh what about a DVD player??? I have a ton of movies that are sitting around that I can send you.

Anyway I am going to mail it out Friday morning. With the kids being sick this week that will be the best day. DH will be home so I will not have to have lug 3 kids out with me in the cold.

I dont have a cd player here but i sometimes listen to cmt on tv. there is a dvd player in all rooms.
im not a big reader but i just got a puzzel book that i pick up several times a day. Thanks ya'll for your thoughts

Well I have some DVD'S I will send. We were going to throw a bunch out, but I will send them to you and you can watch them and then pitch them or what ever.

When you get time look up some songs you like and I will make you a cd. I have a portable cd player(the earphone size)just laying around we don't use.

Today seemed to be a repeat of yesterday. No problem all night and This morning my pad was wet with blood again. UGGGGGG
Ofcourse Im still here in this room. All day again no bleeding. We'll see again in morning. I just want to go back to my room cuz I can move around freely in there and walk the hall. In this room Im stuck in bed with moniters and these things on my legs that blow up like a blood pressure cuff and then release, it is to help prevent blood clots from laying in bed so much. Then IV's keep me down also. I just want this over but I know its too early.

I cant imagine how hard this has to be for you especially during the holiday season and being away from your kids. How are you feeling after losing all that blood? Are they having to replace it?

Hugs Andrea. Keep your head up and think positively. My heart goes out to ya hon. I cannot imagine what you must be going through. Take it easy and if you need anything....let us know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

How is Madison doing? I am sure that you have tons of visitors this weekend, but keep us posted!

I've been away, and I'm so sorry to learn about what you've been through the past few days! Thank goodness you and little Madison are doing well, and that you were in the hospital to give you both the care you need. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!!

I hope the bleeding settles down and you can get back to your room and back on your feet soon!
