Dr appt today, u/s results

My dr appt today at 4 pm to find out results of placenta from Friday's u/s. Me and dh's anniversary is tommorrow so we will celebrate it tonight, going out for dinner and movie, Fireproof. Ive been wanting to see that movie and its finally in a town near us. Hoping placenta has moved so we can resume normal activities again.

Good luck and happy anniversary. My 12th anniversary is Saturday and I have not clue what to do.

Well, my placeta hasnt moved. Dr dont think it will now, it is complete previa. Scares the #@*@ out of me. I live 45 minutes from hospital and they dont have the equipment to care for such an emegency that it could turn into. I will deliver at University of Iowa, 2 hours away. I just hope I can make it there without any problems when the time comes. With this being 6th pg babies come fast. My last pg I delivered 10 minutes after arriving at hospital and dh was going 90 the whole way. Please pray for me through out the rest of my pg.
On a lighter note, me and dh went to dinner and had fillet mignon. yummmmy. We went to the movie Fireproof, it was really good. Just got home and am ready for bed.

Oh, Andrea, I am so sorry to hear that...

I am praying for you and your little one. At least the docs are fully aware of the problem, and can focus on managing it... I guess you will have a scheduled c-section? Maybe that was already the plan?

If you do have to make a mad dash to Iowa City, can you call the highway patrol for an escort?

yep, I will have a c/s anyway. But now I have to be careful incase of bleeding. I just dont want to start bleeding so bad that I dont have time to get to the hospital. Our hospital which is 45 minutes away is not equiped for large blood bank. They dont deal with emergency situations like what this could become. I just ray that all goes well until like 8 months and then they could admit me up there until delivery. I would feel more comfortable with tht. We have 5 miles of gravel road to even get to black top or highway, and with winter time coming.... ughhhh. might not makeit out very well if really needed. thanks you all for thinking of me.

I'm sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for, but you'll be in my thoughts that everything works out perfectly!

I am so sorry, as well, that it didn't work out... hopefully u will have a safe delivery and rest of preg.
