Mother's Intuition was .....

CORRECT!!!!!


We are having a GIRL!!! Like I've said in many previous posts, I knew from the moment I peed on the stick that Bean was a little girl... after all the darn boy dreams I had... I still knew Bean was a girl... and today confirmed! I am officially joining TEAM PINK!!!

The ultrasound tech was amazing... lil Bean was being very stubborn at first..The tech was very patient.. kept moving onto different measurements she needed to take, and going back to find our "parts." Bean was actually laying with her legs crossed indian style! I drank a LOT of OJ before hand, so when that finally kicked in, Bean was my amazing little JUMPING BEAN!! Her heartbeat is 154.. she's extremely active, everything is measuring perfectly and she weighs exactly 3/4s of a pound! I'm measuring RIGHT on the nose.. 20 weeks, 1 day.

I knew I would be absolutely THRILLED with either boy or girl - but the fact that my feeling was correct makes me feel a little less crazy than I already feel with these wacky hormones. S.O. is thrilled - he cried.. I cried.. we cried.. and laughed.. and cried some more. The awesome tech (we ended up being in there for about an hour and 10 minutes) gave us a ton of pictures, most of which I've posted below.

OMG that's so great!! Congratulations, Sarina, and thanks for posting the photos! I can't wait to get some on Monday.

Congratulations Sarina!!!! Those pictures are amazing...I love the butt cheeks one! And that is so awesome that you were there for an hour! I could sit there all day staring at the screen.

Congrats! I wish I had intuition. I was wrong both times, thought I was carrying a girl with my first pregnancy, got a boy, now with this one I thought it was a boy, carrying a girl!

Congrats on the little girl I am SO excited for you! I had an intuition the whole time that I was having a boy! and I am! So i totally beilieve its true. When we first went to the Dr I told DH that it was a boy and he denied that I knew. My mom agreed that mothers intuition is right! But my MIL said, nope its a girl! But I was right! when we were leaving the Dr. office DH said, I will never doubt you again lol. THat is so exciting that you are having a little girl. Last week it was all boys, this week its all girls... SO crazy!

Everybody kept telling me it was a boy...dh and I both thought it was a boy and we are having a girl. I was kind of shocked at first because everytime I pictured this child I saw a boy! I am happy that your intuition was right. Mine was way off, but I am happy for a healthy baby girl!
