Do you loose the weight faster if you had a vaginal birth versus a C-section?
Does it make a difference if you breast feed with either birth??

Well I don't know about c-sections-=-- never had one.
With my 1st I kinda held onto about 10-15 lbs, don't know why??
but with my second, I lost all the weight within 3 weeks!!!! Boy was I surprised!

I did breastfeed with bot of them.... brestfeeding really does help ur uterus go back to shape quickly

I also don't know about a c-section and I hope I never have to have one but I did loose all the weight with my daughter (who is now almost 9) with in 3 months. I then got on the depo shot and gained 45 pounds with in a year. I got back down to a healthy weight of 135-138 before I got pregnant with this one. I am hopping to loose all the weight quickly. I hear that beastfeeding helps you loose weight and I do plan to breatfeed.

Here is another question for everyone......Does breastfeeding also help you to stop bleeding quicker? I think I blead for over 8 weeks with my daughter and I don't want to go through that again.

This always seems so interesting to me, since one of my best friends GAINS weight every time she breastfeeds, I'm hoping to be on the band wagon that I'll lose, maybe each woman is different.

It really depends on the person. I am a walker on most occasions. But when i am feeling better after having my babies i put them i a snuggly and walk walk walk. I do b/f and manage to lose all the weight. With my last i was on bedrest so i gained 60lbs and lost it all. When i weaned both boys or started the process i gained 10 lbs then got pg. So i started this time heavier then i wanted. But im confident with lots of b/f'ing and walking and drinking plenty of water i will lose it again. Some people have to work at it.. others dont have to do a thing. I know what it takes for me.. and it works out. I plan on gaining 40-50lbs this time because i had a rough start with m/s and sugar levels.

When we have our lo's we can start a Weight Loss thread.. It really helped me out on my last baby board.

With my DD I was down to my pre-pregnancy weight 3 weeks post delivery, I pumped for 2 weeks, but breastfeeding never worked for me. However my clothes still didn't find...even after losing an additional 10 pounds they didn't fit, its the whole smushy stomach thing that wasn't there before that is causing me the headaches with the clothes...

Losing weight while breastfeeding has been all over the place for my group of friends, some it helped, some it didn't, some gained, since they were trying to eat so much to keep the milk healthy, etc.
