early labor i think

So yesterday i was having contraction that became consistent 7 mins apart then they went to 7-10 mins apart...So i had to call the doc this morning for something else and mentioned it to them and they asked me to come in to be checked. I was 2cm and 60% effaced last tuesday and today i was 3-4cm and the doc said if was not trying for a VBAC and this was my first she would send me to L&D to get some pitocin and move things along...but because im trying for a VBAC they dont give potocin because it makes the contractions WAY to strong and can potenially cause the c/s scar to tear from the inside which is a risk. So now im just waiting it out...the contraction spread out to 20-30 mins apart but are a lot more stronger...if i go to L&D they would be willing to ruputer my water....so now im home just cleaning!! will keep you girls updated and my board buddy!

Woo hoo! Congrats...I hope your contractions pick up on their own and you get your wish of a VBAC. Best of luck!

oooh, exciting... good luck!! I'm ready and waiting to fulfill my board buddy duties...

well the contractions are spreading out even more...so i dont think there will be any report tonight...i do go to the doc tomorrow for my regular scheduled internal...so 2 internals in 2 days...i dont think she will say much more happened...thanks ladies...my DH told me to take a nice warm bath and he can "help" out to if i want! haha

i was all set for some DH assistance last night, and then he had stomach issues so i had to wait... and now he's out of town... sigh

Oh godness, good luck and keep us posted on your Dr's Appointment tomorrow. I had no idea they wouldn't push Pitocin for a VBAC, you learn something new everyday!!

well its 4:30am and im back to the 5-9 min contractions again...they are pretty painful so i think sometime this morning i will be going to L&D...i have been up with the "runs" and throwing up and contractions since about 1:15...im kinda waiting it out incase...my DH thinks we should be going to the hospital now....i think i will be pretty soon.

I JUST seen in my babytalk mag. that throwing up has been shown to help you.... So good luck... I'll be thinking about you today... and wishing I could be having my baby too!! GOOD LUCK and keep us posted!!!
