Board Buddy Update (Crystal)

Just wanted to let you all know that Crystal (blessed w/baby #2) is in the hospital. She is dialated to 4 cm. As of right now, she thinks they will be medicating her and sending her home...but not sure.

Please keep her and her baby girl in your thoughts!

As of 3 pm, they were sending her home on meds. Says she is hoping to keep baking for another couple of weeks. So, as of my last update, all seems to be ok. Thank goodness.

Didn't mean to scare anyone... I'm sure we will be having many more "updates" from other ladies soon. Some of you are getting so close! Another 2 or 3 weeks and the early Marchers will have full term little ones...that's just crazy!

Yay...I'm glad to hear that everything is okay. I know its so weird to think that these updates will be more common as the weeks come! We're almost there!!!!!!!!!

After reading about Crystal today , I told my husband that if I should happen to go into labor early and am not able to get on this board or call, that he is to call my Board Buddy and let her know what is going on. I told him the number is in the hospital bag. He was amazed that we are so organized! I said yes we are female. We are good like that!

I am so glad that by the time I read this Crystal was on her way home and her little one is safe and sound in there, lets hope she stays that way. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying that she bakes a little while longer...

Thank you everyone and especially Amanda. I did go home yesterday with some meds that are suppose to stop the contractions but I am still having them about 10 minutes apart. I also had some bleeding last night (very light) but I think it was just my mucus plug. I still have a little this morning and I am not real sure how long you normally have the "bloody show" when you loosed your mucus plug. I do have a dropper and I check for a heartbeat several times a day now. Other than that I am really tired and weak. I really need to keep her in for at least 2 more weeks. She has me scared but I am trying to stay calm with no stress. If any thing changes I will let Amanda know.

Im so glad that they sent you home and rest. Sometimes staying in the hospital so they can watch you is to stressful. Keep her baking for about 2 more weeks!! take care and rest!

My husband thinks its funny we have board buddies also. I over heard him telling someone yea i have a list of who to call and i have to call a total stranger from the internet...HAHA i said she is not a stranger she is my friend/ board buddy! he is totally fine with it tho!

He also said to me last night, "i think you should pack your hospital bag already" I said to him...why? He said just incase you go early i can just grab it! he is so cute and preparing....i was that way with my DS and this time i havent even cleared out the nursery yet with the guest room funiture...i need to get cracking!

Hi Crystal.. Glad to see you posting! Try to relax and hang in there for your little girl. We are praying for ya! DId they give you a shot of steroids?

My dh jokes about you ladies and says.. "Take care of your "posts". Cause this is your post!" We watched a lot of Dances with Wolves and a soldier had a post as in army post. Inside thing... sorry... hehe but thats how your all reffered.

Crystal I am so glad things worked out for you. However I have a little story that may ease your mind a bit.

My sil had her 1st baby at 35 weeks and 3 days. She went to the hospital becasue of contractions and they kept her and let her go. She was about 2cm and 50% effaced when she got there. Her water was not broke or anything.

She had Madison around 4 in the afternoon and she was 5lbs 10oz, healthy as she could be. They were released from the hospital the next day.

So just incase you are to go back into labor you are in the safety zone. If you would have been 36 weeks they would have let you kept going. So keep her baking a bit longer, but don't stress if she comes out for an early visit. That just means she can not wait to see her mama!
