My baby bedding is up Pics UPDATED***

But not finished. I have her name done but I cant tie a friggin bow if someone paid me! I have tried and tried but its not like the florist people do it. The name will go abover the crib on a brownish/tanish wall. Plus the 2 wall hangings draping over the side of the crib will go on the back wall too. I hate how the curtain looks so thats coming down. I have nice brown curtains going up just wanted to see how it fit. Not complete but you get the idea! After i pained the letters, DH said i should have done brown letters with pink dots. What do you think?

Nope, I love the pink with brown, just how you have it. And I have to say, I actually really like the curtain, why don't you like it? The bedding is GREAT.

Well I like the curtain, i just dont like how it fits on the rod and in the window, can still see rod and the blinds...hmm I am hoping to get the letters up tomorrow. So you dont think i should do brown with pink dots? After looking at them, i think there are too many dots! grrr I think i have issues! lol

Nope, I absolutely LOVE the letters the way they are. Its a nice contrast to the bedding which has fewer bigger flowers, the smaller more frequent dots is a good contrast.

Thank you! phew... i just want it to look nice and since i have no decorating skills what so ever... i had my doubts. I had thought of doing every other letter with the little flowers on it, but there wasnt enough room. I think that would have looked nice too. But i will keep it as it is... after i tie the stupid bows!

I love the way you did her name!! I think it looks great together! Don't count yourself out....you did a wonderful job decorating and putting it all together.

The room looks great and I agree, I like the letters the way they are.

We're having letter painting issues too. Can't agree on the color. We bought green but I think we're going to take it back and buy a navy blue. I don't know...ugh.

Thanks again everyone! I cant stop staring at it all day today. I finally tied the bows! After we get tacks, i will hang it all up and post another picture. Then sadly i have to take the bedding out of Graysons crib. He needs to sleep in it a bit longer..

I love the letters just the way they are! I tried and tried to tie pretty bows with DDs letters and ended up just tying the ribbon in a knot and it actually came out really cute. Maybe you could try that? And I like the valance too...what about putting a second rod (just the cheapie kind) under the existing one and putting the brown curtains under the valance? Just and idea but I love what you've done!

HI again..Its me! Well I think I am finally finished with how I want it. I am sure I will make some sort of modifications as time goes on and still might find room for the changing table who knows. But here it is! Bows tied!! And letters up!! I am happy with it!!

You can always go with a nuteral gender name like Teagan! I love that name too. I have soooo wanted a girl for many many years... after 3 boys in a row i thought it would never happen. Thats why we went all out on her even though this is the last.

The letters are so darling! Great job with the bows! I ordered some letters from Ebay I can't wait till they come in. The lady I ordered them from handpaints them and she's going to paint Dr. Seuss characters on them! I just can't wait to see them!!!

Aweee I cant wait to see them! I bet they are going to be very precious! I still need to spray them with lakar sp? to make them shiney. I was going to order them all done but i had spent so much on her already.. i figured i would do them myself.

Well they came out great! You did a great job! I was going to attempt to do them myself but I am in no way a crafty person, I would have just messed it up, got upset then ordered letters...lol. They were on sale so it wasn't too bad...$8 a letter. She says it will take about 4 weeks so once I finally get them in I will definitely post pics!

April - it looks GREAT. I was thinking, I wonder if the rod showing is bothering you because its White....what would happen if you found a dark dark brown rod, think that would look better? And great job with the bows...
