What goes in a diaper bag?

DH and I are putting together the diaper bag and I am not sure that we have everything we need. Here is our list so far:

diapers (not sure how many to keep in there?)
wipes
clean clothes (socks, t-shirts, pants, onesie)
diaper changing lotion (its to clean baby's butt if wipes aren't doing the trick)
wet bag (for dirty clothes)

It seems to me like there should be more stuff in there. Any suggestions or must haves?

pacifier
cloth diaper for spit up
Changing pad
diaper rash cream
bottle/powder formula/water bottle (if needed)

Mylacon Drops (I never used them, but always had them just in case)

It all depends on how long of a trip you are talking about, if you are going to a friends house for the day, all of this stuff would be necessary, if you are just running to the mall quickly, not so much. I keep mine packed all the time.

I always use powder after every changing, So I try to keep that travel size powder in there too.

It looks like I'm going to need a suitcase instead of a diaper bag LOL! I never thought of half this stuff.

It all depends on the situation and where you are going.
I always look at it like my purse...put what I need or may need for that trip out of the house but the things I ALWAYS have in there are
3-7 diapers depending on how long were gone
Wipes
Small tube of butt cream
small blanket or changing pad
2 bottles
small container of formula
passafire
hand sanatizer
tissue
tylenol
gas drops
beanie
onesie or feety pajamas

Ishould of got on the computer when I was up at 3, I didn't figure anyone else would be on so I just did a couple other things around the house!! I was up till about 12 and then at about 3 Caleb started !!! I guess 3 is going to be his time to get up and play!! Because I have been up at about 3 or 3:30 the past couple mornings, and then I got up with DH this morning at 5:45. I got back to sleep about 4. I MADE myself go back to bed. I am going to be so tired later on today, but maybe I can take a nap at naptime!! LOL!!!

Another thing I thought of for the diaper bag is Germ X. Its great to use when you are out and about to clean your hands after changing diapers etc.

My bag will have:

4-5 diapers
travel wipes
diaper bag(the throw away smell good kind)
butt cream
lotion
2 extra outfits or sleepers
bibs
burp rags
travel can of formula
2 water bottles pre-made(those will come out when back home)
binki
extra blanket
baby tylenol
gas drops
germ stuff
the kitchen sink my wallet
then random things the kids hand me I just stash in there for weeks till I clean it out
