My 3D/4D ultrasound
I had it done on Saturday. The package I picked out was for 25 minutes. I also got a cd with pics, dvd, black & white pics, 2 sheets of color pics, and a website for baby for a year.
Baby just wouldn't cooperate. S/he was basically bent in half with feet in the face along with arms in the way. I drank 5 oz of OJ before we got there, not helping. She had me drink an ice cold Capri Sun and move around for 10 minutes. That actually made it worse. Then she had me walk the halls for 10 minutes, while I did this I was rapping my hands on my belly. A little better, but not great. She was talking about having to reschedule for next week, but that she had no open appts. Not what I wanted to hear, but I figured it was coming since baby wouldn't cooperate. All these tries, the tech kept pushing on my belly kind of gently shaking baby. Finally, baby started to wake up a little and we were able to get some pics. After another 5 min, s/he finally moved the legs out of the way. We got some good pics, but not as great as they could have been. Oh well, we knew that was a possibility. We didn't want to have to go back anyways, it is 45 min away but took an hour due to messy snow roads. Plus, there's the issue of getting my parents to agree to babysit right away again. Of course, dh's work schedule sucks too. During the u/s we could see baby yawn, stick out his/her tongue, and got a few smiles...too cute!
Oh, kind of ironic but if she had gone to the genital region, with the legs up by the face she could have gotten a perfect view of if it is a boy or girl. Had we wanted to know, then those legs would have been down & crossed.
After the u/s we went to BRU and picked up some things. I got a boppy wedge to put under my belly while in bed. I also got some sheets (blue to go with new set if boy, already have girl sheets), mattress pads, pack n play basinett sheets, cotton mittens for baby, and a cute frame for a pic from the u/s and it has a poem on it.
Then off to Applebee's for a yummy dinner, mostly paid for by dh's boss. He got a gift card for Christmas from his boss. Can't beat free steak & shrimp!!!
Here's the pics. So tell me, do you think boy or girl. Again, we did not find out.
Look at the smile! This is my favorite picture.
Here's the bloopers!
On the left of the picture, the arm is up. On the right of the picture, the arm is up and then the leg is up with the foot holding the arm back.
Trying to pick his/her nose with his/her toes!

oh wow, what an experience! glad you were able to get a few pics... it is a little frustrating when you have high hopes for clear pics and baby has other ideas. it's neat that his/her eye is open in the one shot.
since you asked for opinions, i would vote "boy" just by the way he/she appears in the pics. just my guess!
won't be long, and you can take pics of your baby boy/girl to your heart's content!

Karen,
The pics are great! I love the one with his or her foot up to his or her nose. I am glad she or he decided to cooperate to get a few pics. We had the same problem with our little guy.

Awee way too cute!! My guess is boy! I really like the ones with its hands by its face as it is taking a nap and snug in you. Love it!!!
Re: My 3D/4D ultrasound
Adorable! I would vote boy, if I have to go by cute little face alone. But I'm pretty sure I'm biased!

Awwww what a cutie!
I am going to guess this stubborn little person is a girl. Just a guess.
S/he is sooo adorable. I cannot believe when looking at that, that we all have actual 'babies' in our growing bellies. Going through the motions of just living my life, sometimes I 'forget' that there is a person living inside of me. For me its kinda like "out of sight, out of mind."
But seeing your US pics just made me realize how close we all are.
exciting isn't it?

Re: My 3D/4D ultrasound
I think your photos are great! Lily also didn't cooperate too much for us, keeping her hands over her face the entire time almost, but the one of the toe in the face is just AWESOME. My vote is for boy!!
Re: My 3D/4D ultrasound
I those pictures. I so wish I had the extra money to do it.
My guess is BOY!!!!

Re: My 3D/4D ultrasound
Thanks everyone! We seem to be getting more boy votes than girl. That also takes into account another board I'm on, as well as some facebook votes.

Great pictures! I got a 4d of our little man at 22 weeks, but it was a profile shot, and I was happy to have it and all, but I don't get anymore:( I'm so curious! Again awesome pictures and congrats!
