Nesting or resting? Empty Nesting or resting?

Post  PonyDoodleButt Mon Dec 15, 2008 8:42 pm

Anyone else nesting yet? All I think about is scrubbing things with comet. Its taking over my life. I clean the sink every day,the toilet every other day along with the door and light switch and the shower twice a week. I cant do it enough. Infact Im thinking about cleaning it rite now and I just cleaned the bathroom before I went to bed lastnight. Also I have to see lots of bubbles anytime I use soap and Im craving the smell of bleach...any other prego nuts?

I am in rest mode. I have always been a clean freak. I also love the smell of bleach. For some reason I am the complete opposite of myself now. I don't care about dirt anymore. My kitchen floors are filthy and I do nothing about it.

I was nesting yesterday. I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom. This weekend while I am off work...the bathrooms are getting scrubbed. It seems my favorite thing to do is declutter. I am loving that these days. I cannot wait until I am off for a week at Christmas. I am going through my whole house. Wanna come over? LOL.

I am nesting, but not in the clean freak sense, more so in the organized freak arena. I have to have everything in its place, I want to throw out all the clutter, I can't stand it when there are things left on the counter or side tables, it drives me bonkers and with my DD it lasted into the first few months after she arrived. Once I got closer to delivery the cleaning freak came out, I vacuumed every day, sometimes more than once a day, and that isn't like me at all, I let our cleaning lady scrub things usually Smile

I'm with LGTWifey... I've got more organizing freakishness going on. I'm doing upkeep cleaning of the house, but nothing freakish... yet. I'm sure it will come in a month or so. :-)

I'm definitely in nesting mode.. I've always been really anal about organization/cleaning.. but now that we moved, it's even worse. I've thrown away SO much.. probably even more than I should have (shh, no one tell SO)... and once I clean something I freak out if any little spot or crumb appears. It only took me about 3 days to completely unpack (Christmas decorations are up now too) because the sight of packed boxes was making me loonier than I already am...The fact that we aren't painting Bean's room until after Christmas (sister is getting us the primer & paint for Xmas) is driving me CRAZY because I want to unload the boxes of baby stuff, and I'm not allowed.

I told SO he was lucky I was doing all this cleaning now because once Bean comes, it'll be up to him. HA.. yea, lets see how long that lasts! lol!
