girl name???

Ok, so I always thought that we were set on a girl's name. Well apparently I am wrong because DH is thinking to try to combine his father's name and my mother's name!!!!

I thought we were going to name a girl Joanne Lynne (Jolee - nickname) Most of u know this -- I've said this so many times...Joanne after his late mother and Lynne for my fam.

Now I am so confused. I don't want a 'made-up' name. I do like more unique names but wtf!!!

Anybody have any ideas???? HELP!!!

Does it have to be combined into one name? If not, how about Mikayla Karin? I'm not a fan or made up names, or names that you will have to to tell people how to properly pronounce.

He was 'just thinking' today he's out and in meetings pretty much all day. But sent me a txt message a few hous ago, so while DS was taking a nap, I started a list. Mikayla Karin, may work... We'll see. we have to talk about it.
It's just a pain cause I though that this was one thing we didn't have to worry about!!
Thanks for ur input. I agree I also don't particuarly like 'made-up' names or ones that u have to constantly have to correct people on... my one DS is Brennen, but everyone thinks it's Brenden and it's so annoying correcting people all the time!!!
