Any BIG U/S's scheduled for Next Week?

I have mine on Tuesday at 8:30am, I am counting down the hours...and my BF will be in St. Lucia for her honeymoon, picture me as a MOH this weekend, looking like a whale, and I won't be able to get in touch with her to share the good news.

I can't wait to find out what this little Hippo is...either gender would be perfect for me. I would love for my DD to have a sister at some point in her life, but would love for my DH to have a son...and since #3 isn't guaranteed I am nervous to let one of them down...

Any one else scheduled for their BIG ONE next week? What will you do right after your U/S? With my DD I took the rest of the day off to have lunch and go shopping, but I am not doing that this time, no extra vacation to take, wanna roll it over for maternity leave next year.

When are you due?

Mine isn't until the 28th :-( SO SO far away! it's a 5:00 appointment so we probably won't do anything after. I know that weekend we will most likely register and do some shopping. I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be here before you know it. I was feeling the same way last month when people were finding out at their 15 week U/S...(BTW, that has never happened to one of my friends, everyone here finds out at 20W).

yeah, the dr told me I could schedule anytime after the 24th. The 25th is a saturday and they were booked on Monday the 27th. So the 28th it is!! LOL and I'll get to leave work a little early which is an added bonus!

Oh I know how that goes. My OB does all her "surgeries" on Monday's, so isn't in the office, so Monday is always out for appointment options, so I had to get the first appointment on Tuesday morning of my 20th week.

I have mine set for the 17th. I'm not sure if I want to find out what we are having or not, but I can't wait to see the little bean!

I have to wait till after the 20th I'm getting anxious... especially since my MIL keeps asking if I have found out yet, I called to say happy birthday, and she didn't even say 'hello' when she answered she said..' so did u find out yet??"
So I see my doc the 20th and since I have an hmo, I'll get my referral sent then, so I have to wait to make my appt!!!

Stephanie - I go on Friday the 17th too!

We paid for a gender determination at 16 weeks, so we already know it's a boy! I'm anxious anyway since it's more about how he's growing and if there are any abnormalities.

As for what we did after, the same thing we did with DD. We went to BRU and each picked out an outfit - one for his first picture and one to come home in. It was a little harder this time with my 2 year old running around, but it was still fun. My DH goes one direction and I go the other and then we meet with our choices. Oh, and I also ordered his crib bedding the same day!

With our DD...our 20W U/S left us not knowing what "she" was...so we went shopping with my In-Laws, they were there for the U/S, but didn't buy anything since we didn't know whether to buy pink or blue...and my DH had already bought two outfits, one girl and one boy, but was so sad he couldn't surprise me with the right one that day...so cute huh? Then I went back at again at 22W (DH had surgery the day before for a mountain biking injury, so he couldnt move, I had to go by myself, the tech printed the pic, wrote on the pic "I'm a Girl", but she sealed the picture into a card so I couldn't see it, and we opened the card together when I got home so we could find out together) As soon as I found out she was a girl I ordered the Crib Bedding...

I am hoping we can find out on the 14th (Tuesday), because I have two Pottery Barn Kids Coupons that expire on the 15th, so I wanted to order the bedding on the 14th when I get home

i go on Sat the 18th at 10:00 am!!! we cant wait! we think girl, but lately i have thinking boy!

Will you all post pictures? Then I can pretend that's what my baby looks like, at least until I finally get to see it in a month!

I go on Thursday the 16th. I can't wait. I hope my lil one opens those legs b/c I feel boy but I would love a girl.

JenniVange~I think that you and I are one of the last u/s! I want to know! I am nesting big time and want to set up the nursery. I really want to go buy one thing for the baby that is either pink or blue. What I really want to do is get rid of all my boy stuff if I am having a girl. The train table will be the first thing to go!

We go on Saturday (THIS week) for a gender determination 3D that we paid for. I'm SOOO excited! I love the idea of going straight out and buying the 1st picture/coming-home outfits. Think I'll talk DH into making that happen...along with whatever other potential pampering he might have to offer. Yay for ultrasounds!

I haven't bought a single baby thing yet because I'm waiting for the u/s. I can't wait to go to BRU to find a cute outfit or a stuffed animal or something!! There is an adorable girl crib set that I want that is on sale at JCPenny and I have a 20% off coupon....It better not sell out before the 30th!

I had one at 16 wks that said boy with a question mark so I get another one tomorrow to confirm....I feel horrible for being sad that this one is more than likely a boy. I so badly wanted a girl because we already have 1 boy together and DH has a boy from a previous relationship. The family put alot of pressure on me to have a girl to because everyone has boys and there hasnt been a girl in 21 years. Also this is our last baby. Why do I feel like such an awfull person?

Although we paid for a gender 3D and know we are having a girl... our big U/S is on the 16th, next thursday at 4pm. I will be 20w2d's. It will be nice to see her again. Cant wait to hear everyone elses results over the next several weeks.

LGTWifey - mines on Tuesday at 8:30am too! I think I'm most excited for my DH to see the baby. I saw him or her at 12 weeks when they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler and it was so cool. I'm so convinced that I'm carrying a boy that I figure this will just be confirmation.

OK...well it doesn't count as my BIG u/s..that won't be till the 1st week of Nov. But we had our first one on Saturday...and saw the little BOY bean for the first time! Thought I'd post some pictures...we're just so "proud"!
