May be time? - FRUSTRATED!!!

So I went to my appointment at 1:45. Dr. said I'm measuring 40 wks, and am 3 cm so he went ahead and stripped my membranes. After, we went shopping...I thought walking might get things going. Now I'm having contractions about 3-5 minutes apart. I'm crossing my fingers that this might be it! If not, I have an ultrasound on Wednesday to check his size with an induction most likely on Friday, 3/6.

THAT DEFF SOUNDS LIKE URE GOING INTO LABOR TO ME!!! My dr told me to call him and head to the hospital once they are 3-5 min apart and last for a min straight... GOOD LUCK! and IF YOU CAN let us know if u have to go to the hospital.. fingers crossed!

So I spent 5 hours last night having painful contractions 2-5 minutes apart and then they just STOPPED! My DH kept trying to get me to go to the hospital, but I kept saying that I wanted to wait. I want to try and labor as much as possible at home. Well, now I'm sore as heck and have no baby to show for it

Any other experienced mommies have this happen with 2nd+ pregnancies? I'm so FRUSTRATED!

ugh!!!! So sorry things didn't progress...but don't give up hope, your uterus is much closer now after having that workout! Keep us posted on how things go throughout the day...it's gotta happen soon!!!

A week before Alyssa came I had that happen to me. Contractions 5 mins apart consistantly and then...nothing! I was so PO'ed.

Wendy.. I SO know what your going through!!!!! I feel like i have been in false labor for almost 2 weeks now. I have had several occasions of contractions for 5 hrs 2-3 min apart then gone! Poof! I do totally understand where your coming from. When you first wrote your post my first thought was.. Ya that was me too.. but they stop! But i didnt want to be negetive so i hoped that it was really it for you. Even last night being at the hospital so close.. 4 cm but go home and come back in 2 days! I kept calm and acted okay with that.. but a part of me was like.. damn! Just get it over with! Take out the knitting needle and pop that sucker! Hugs Wendy!
