Dilation/Effacement: 3 centimeters!!!!!
Urine: Normal
Next appt: March 3rd (Tuesday)
Tests: None
Baby's sex: Boy
Baby's name: Ronin Elijah
Other: I had my appt this morning and the dr. says I'm a solid 3 centimeters. Not really having contractions though so she massaged my cervix to see if that will jump start anything. We'll just wait & see!

Rochelle, I love a good massage like anyone else, but a cervix massage just doesn't sound comfortable! I hope it gets things moving for you though.

Thanks Ladies! Yeah the massage wasn't a spa experience It was funny though b/c when she stuck her hand up there the baby jumped! I'm sure he was like whoah, who the heck just poked my head...haha!

I keep trying to imagine what it must be like for the babies to come out into this world after their long stay inside of us. Poor baby, getting scared by being touched. I would too!!

Other: I was checked today.. Glad to hear that i am really 3cm and 70%. She stripped my membranes and got blood! I have been having strong contractions since. I went out to dinner with a friend of mine after. She will be there at my delivery. The m/w made a comment.. i could break your water if L&D wasnt so busy right now, your water bag is sticking right out! DUR! What are you waiting for? lol Just do it!!! I could have told you that! Her exact words were.. I know you know how to check yourself.. so when you go home.. you do what you gotta do. So dh and i are going to try a little bedtime boogy and see if that works. But if the contractions get slower. For now ill try nipple stim.

Weight Gain so far: 28lbs
Blood Pressure: good
Belly measurement: 33 weeks (measuring 3 weeks small but ultrasound shows Jorja May is growing just fine)
Dilation/Effacement: her head was right there and my cervix is thinned out but dr. said he didn't want to push the exam because it may cause me to go into labor. He said he'd do a more "thorough exam" in a week and kinda "help things along"....whatever that means
Urine: fine

Tests: weekly nonstress

Other: We had our final ultrasound today....been having them every week for a couple of months. The cord is still around her neck 2x but they said today that it didn't look super tight. We were given the option to have an amnio next week (Monday, once I turn 37 weeks) to check her lung development and if they were developed we could be induced that day (because the cord is still around her neck). Otherwise, they'd induce me at 39 weeks if I hadn't had her by then. So, after seeing her on the ultrasound today and having our weekly nonstress test to check her heart.....we decided against the amnio. She's super healthy and a little bit on the small side so the more time she's in there cooking, the better. We'll continue the nonstress tests to make sure the cord isn't causing any distress but she's done great so far. We're hoping she just comes on her own in the next week or two (which my dr. totally thinks will happen) and then if not, we'll be delivering her 3 weeks from today (induction). I'm currently off the terbutaline (for preterm labor) so we'll see what happens. I've been taking it since Christmas. Come on contractions I don't have a board buddy but I'll keep you guys updated if anything changes.

They keep telling us she's got tons of hair on the ultrasound. I think it's so funny because Sylvi had NO hair .....I can't imagine a baby coming out that isn't bald

Well ladies.. I go to the dr today and I am hoping she will "help" me out a bit. I am SO sick of not getting any sleep due to.... HUGE belly, acid reflux, feeling like Caleb is going to fall out everytime I move.... I just keep telling myself that in no time I'll be getting no sleep for A GOOD REASON!!! I am a tummy sleeper and I think that may be one reason I can't sleep.... I can't sleep on a huge belly!!! Well I will update you later... OR be calling Karen to let her know I am having him!!!

Other: Doctor didn't take my $1 bribe to give me my c-section this week. Meanie.

Week: 38
Weight Gain so far: TO MUCH!!! 4 pounds since last week.
Blood Pressure: I don't remember the numbers but she said it was great.
Belly measurement: 38
Dilation/Effacement: She asked if I wanted to be checked and I didn't see the point, but WILL be checked next week.
Urine: Good... every 10 minutes instead of 20.
Next appt: March 3rd (LAST ONE!!)
Tests: Caleb is testing me.. that's about it!!!
Baby's sex: Boy
Baby's name:Caleb LeRoy
Other: We will set up a inducement date next week. He is still head down!!! Hoping to go into labor before then, but not getting my hopes up. My other two didn't want to came join the world, I don't see this one being any different!!

Glad to hear that baby Jorja is still cooking and will hopefully stay cooking for a few more weeks!!

Jenni- I am so sorry to hear that ur doc isn't up for being bribed!!!

Lacie I feel ur pain I wish I could sleep on my belly too!!! If this wasn't my last preg, I would have gotten one of those pillows with the hole in it to lay in, When I got my massage I layed in one and I fell asleep like 5 times, I couldn't stay awake!!!! it was great!

Week: 36 1/2 but who's counting?
Weight Gain so far: 50 or so, I have stopped caring
Blood Pressure: great
Belly measurement: Huge
Dilation/Effacement: 1 cm/ 80 % effaced
Urine: good
Next appt: Tuesday, March 3
Tests: All done, strep negative
Baby's sex: Male
Baby's name: ????????
Other: Had to go to L & D yesterday to have him monitored. He actually decided to take a rest and scared his mommy! All is good and the Dr. said to watch the contractions because the baby is big and it could happen sooner than my March 15 c/s date.

Week: 36 weeks
Weight Gain so far: stayed the same again, so total this pg is a loss of 5 pounds
Blood Pressure: 124/74
Belly measurement: Right on target
Dilation/Effacement: 1-2 cm, didn't say anything about effacement, so basically no change since Friday
Urine: Negative
Next appt: March 4th
Tests: None
Baby's sex: it's a surprise!

Other: GBS came back + as I pretty much assumed it would. I had my u/s last Saturday and she said that baby weighed 5 lb, 9 pz then and is in the 50-75% range. She was very happy with that weight, due to the gd. I got my induction date set to March 19 which is 3 weeks & 1 day from today! My due date is 6 days after that. She's guessing at induction, the baby will weigh between 7.5-8.25 pounds which makes me very happy!

Karen - You're being induced on my due date!!! It feels so far away! Glad to hear your little one is on track with weight

Weight Gain so far: 32-34, up 2 lbs from last monday
Blood Pressure: 114/68
Belly measurement: ?? on track I guess
Dilation/Effacement: 2 cm and 60% effaced!!!! Some progress is better than nothin!!!
Urine: normal I guess
Next appt: Monday, March 2 at 10:30
Tests: None this time, forgot to ask about the strep b from last week, but I'm assuming it was fine
Baby's sex: I told the doc today that if this turns out to be another boy he better be wearing a face guard!!!

Other: Doc said he won't let me go much past my due date, so I'm thinking if I don't go on my own, I'll be induced March 17th!!!
don'y have much else to say, but i'm glad I made some progress this week!

Other: so I have either dropped or my baby is shrinking, I will be having another u/s sometime this week or next to look at his size and make sure that he is ok. I hope it’s just me dropping. also my MW was sick today so i didn't ask her replacement the questions that i had for this week, i guess it can wait until next week.
