so it is finally ***done ***

so dh has started painting the babies room how exciting. I wanted to share some pics even though the room is not finished it fun to think that it is getting close.


this was what the room looked like for like the last month


this what dh has done thus far




so in the middle btw the two blues there will be a red strip. after the paint gets going we can bring the furniture in. the crib and changing table are white. I will share when the room is complete but I am happy about the progress.

It looks great Marie. I know you must be relieved to finally have the room started. Can't wait to see the furniture in there.

That was my first thought too. Its okay cause i love seeing pictures too.

no labor ladies, but I happy that the room is starting to come together. I keep telling dh that we only have a few weeks ubtil this little one comes

well ladies its done, well almost when our child finial gets a name we will get the letters to go over his bed, the letters will be in red

when i walked in the room dh was practicing his breastfeeding with the moose, he moved when i went to take the pic, but i said i would post it

The room looks great. The red stripe brings it all together. I hope that you come up with a name soon! My poor baby still has no name! I would also like to put some letters up on the wall. Your husband is hilarious with the moose!

It turned out really nice. I like the red, it just gives it some pizzazz (sp?). Good job!!

Oh Marie - I love it. And I can live through you since you picked the bedding I would have used for a boy!!! So classic!! And the red stripe is PERFECT. And if you leave him in that room as a Toddler/Kid there are so many bedding options that will work with those colors. I love it.

Marie, the room looks great!!! I'm so jealous of all you women who have done such cute decorating. I have a crib and bedding set but it ends there I'm looking for some cute things to hang on the walls but we won't be painting. Living in Army housing and not knowing when we'll have to move again makes it such a hassle to paint. Oh well, Baby Brayden will love his room no matter what! Again, your nursery is adorable, great job!!!

yes I am so happy that the room is finial finished, and no i didn't sleep in there, but might tonight (lol). I know my poor child is nameless but there are three contenders Tristen, Ethan, and Evan we might just have to wait and meet him to finalize his name. but now that the room is finished i can't wait for him to come.

It really does look great!! I agree that the red stripe just ties everything together and will give you so many options in the future when baby grows and his tastes change! Hysterical your DH was trying his breastfeeding skills on the moose....I have a couple pics of my boys trying to breastfeed their stuffed animals while I was breastfeeding baby-too funny!
