Andrea - Update on Madison?

Just wanted to check in and see how Madison is doing, any updates?

Im sorry its been a while, my lo who will be two on Wed. has been sick this weekend. So we didnt go see Madison as we didnt want to take a chance that we might also have a bug and it just hasnt shown up yet. But we call atleast 2 times a day. Today is is weighing in at 2 lbs 11 oz. , her lowest weight was 2lbs 4 oz. so she's moving right along. Her digestive system is begining to work some now so they have went from 2cc of bm every 8 hours to todays being 7 cc bm every 3 hours. Another . They didnt hear the murmur for a couple days and now been hearing it again lastnight and today. If they continue hearing it this evening and tomorrow morning when DR listens then they will prolly do the echo again to look at her heart. She is on 30% oxygen still nasal canula with no apnea or bradycardia spells, so thats very good. She gets a bath every 3 days which Sat as her day and they were gonna wait til we got there but we will have a chance to help do that soon Im sure. Now that shes 2 weeks old they can elevate her head of bed to help in digestion. And we can hold her now so next time we go up there we will get to if all is still good. She is such a fighter!! Im so proud of her and how well she has done so far.

I am so glad to hear that Madison is doing well. I know you are so excited to be able to hold her. How exciting. Be sure to take lots of pics! I think of Madison all the time!

I am so glad to hear Madison is doing so well. She is absolutely beautiful. I look at her pictures all the time and think "WOW...what a miracle!" I hope your 2 yr old gets feeling better. Take care and keep the pictures coming. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and Madison.

Awww she is beautiful. I haven't been on here much with the holidays keeping me so busy but things will start to get back to normal now. It sounds like she is doing very well and I am so happy to hear that. She is a fighter!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Thanks so much for the update, Andrea! I'm so glad to hear she's gaining weight and eating more! How nice that you can finally hold her and cuddle her a bit!!! What a blessing!!

Andrea I can not wait till you guys are healthy and go back and get more pictures.

You should be getting your package in the next couple days. I got it in the mail later than planned. I have Nov, Dec and Jan gifts in there.
