Braxton Hicks questions

Can you get braxton hicks contractions in your back? A few times last night and today I've had a menstural crampy feeling in my lower back (where I normally get my period cramps) and tightening of my lower belly. It's painful but not excruatingly so. However it did stop me from singing in the shower this morning. I've never had this before and wasn't sure.

I'm drinking alot of water. I also have my 32 week appt tonight so I'll mention it and I'm sure they'll want to check me because I can't go in to labor but was wondering what you ladies think.

hmmm I guess it's possible, but I never heard of it, I feel like I am constantly having BH!

Yup. It can so happen. It just depends on how the baby is laying. With my first I had braxton hicks in my back and then when I went into labor I had HORRIBLE back labor because of the way he was laying. It sucked.

I was having some pretty bad braxton hicks last night. DH told me to get over it you have been through this before. I said yeah I have, but it still hurts like it did the first time jack ass. DUMB ASS!!!!

I had the same symptoms at about 27 weeks with Madison and went to dr. He felt my belly up at top and said I wasnt having contractions cuz it wasnt hard. I told him it dont get hard at top its at belly button down. He went ahead and sent me for u/s to check cervix as I couldnt be checked manually. I felt that quite a bit early on also but I would still mention it as everyone is different and you are getting closer to due date. Good luck and let us know what dr says.

Jamie- Tell dh he had better staighten up or we girls will all gang up and kick his ***. LOL. That is messed up, no matter how many times it is like the 1st time everytime.
