BRU stopped selling my stroller!!

I found out on Friday that Babies R Us no longer carries the stroller I had registered for and I am so pissed!!! I already have the matching carseat as it was given to me as a gift. Now I have to start the search all over again. I hate 95% of the patterns out there so it won't be easy. I was so excited when I found the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Stroller in French Roast and now it's gone. I've looked on Ebay and every other website for it. Nothing. Any advice on where I could possibly find it? Or something like it? I really want solid colors. I'm not big on patterns.

Hmmmmm, could you call Babies R US and see if any store still has any in stock? They might be able to ship it to you. Likely your local store can check inventory at all the other stores.

that sucks!! did you google it? there are boutique stroller stores and such... it seems like you should be able to find it somewhere??

WOW I googled it and no one has it! Sorry to hear that it cant be found. Good luck picking out another pattern. I would cry if my pattern was discontinued. She even has a matching set for her dolls when she is old enough.

I think you can get car seat covers, at least I think someone has mentioned that. And you could always pick a plain color...

Speaking of that, where do I find them? I would like a different pattern for mine but I dont want to buy a whole new car seat...that would just be silly

Just answered my own question, GOOGLE is a powerful thing.

I got on evenflo's website and ask them where I could get a new seat cover, and I got a answer in a couple days. We didn't want to buy a whole new seat, since Dakota only used it for a little bit, but it is sun faded BAD. The carseat that we have will stay in the car, and it can be used till Caleb is 40lbs.

Lacie - do you mind me asking how much it was? The ones I found online were fairly expensive, the cheapest I found was $59 smackers...

There are two different ones and one is $48 and the other is $42.
I just email evenflo and asked if there was any way I could order a new seat cover and she said that they didn't carry the same cover but did have two other that I could order. Good Luck! If you don't mind me asking what type do you have? Mine is a Evenflo Orion.

They did this to me yesterday with my pack n play and my highchair and my crib bedding...I didnt even get any info from them saying they were going to be discontinued or anything!!! One of my friends was at the store- and called me to tell me that most of the things I had registered for was discontinued. It really kinda pisses me off- they have my email address- they couldnt just send a note letting me know???

So I just got off the phone with BRU and they can't ship the stroller from Canada. They said I would have to find someone in Canada to ship it to and have them ship it to me. This is crap. Why can't they ship a stroller to the US??? It's not illegal people!! Needless to say I sort of hung up on the poor guy. I hate BRU.
Anyone live in Canada that I can have it shipped to and then have them ship it to me?? I'm desperate here!!!! HELP!

I found someone on my other online mommy group who lives in Canada and is willing to help me out!! I can't believe I am actually doing this! I am just going to trust this other mommy so easily with an expensive purchase. I'll let y'all know if I ever get it .

That is the bad thing about spring babies and registery. Everything gets marked down to make room for the new stuff. I learned that with Jared since he was a Feb 2000 baby. Everything I put on got taken off. It sucked.

I noticed that the swing we registered for got put on clearance, so we went and bought it so that we didn't miss our chance. It was one of two left in the store, and you couldn't get it online anymore. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal to pick a different one, but I also didn't want someone finding it on my registry and then not having any luck getting it.

I agree that there should be some kind of notification if something goes on clearance or close-out, but I'll just have to check my registry more often I guess. Darn!
