We got to hold Madison today

Hi ladies. Well on Tuesday I was down in basement going to do laundry and my back went out, Ive had problems with 3 bulging disc's for 7 years now. I had to scoot on my butt all the way upstairs cuz my 2 year old was alone, it took me 1/2 hour to make it. I prayed the Lord would get me to the phone and my daughter. I called my FIL he lives up the road and had him come help me to bed. He stayed until dh got off work. Now dh has been taking care of me on vacation the rest of week. I go for mri on Wed to check if my disc's have gotten worse since 1st mri. Anyway, we went up today to see Madison and it was great to get to hold her. I had her for about 10 min. and her temp dropped to much so dh held her for about 1/2 min and she went back into her warmer. But it was still one of the best days of my life. She is doing well, taking 1 oz bm every 3 hours now. She is at 3# 3oz. We have more videos of today I will try to post the link again.

I'm really sorry to hear about your back! I will keep praying for you both!!!

The videos were hard to see because it was so dark. But i love the new picture! She is getting so big and chunky! Congrats on getting to hold her! Is she doing well overall? Feedings going well? Must be since she is gaining! Awesome!!

That's wonderful you & dh got to hold her! I can't believe she's already 4 weeks old, wow.

Madison looks like she is doing wonderful! She is so cute and getting some bulk to her. I am glad to see that. What a little angel she is. I am sorry you are having back trouble. I hope you get feeling better soon. Getting to hold Madison had to help some of the pain go away.

Oh wow, Andrea, you poor thing... I am glad you were able to make it up the stairs. How scary!

Little Madison is such a cutie. How nice to finally be able to hold her!! We are all cheering for her, and so pleased she is doing well and making progress.

Great news that you got to hold Madison today. She is starting to fill out and looks great!!! You must have been thrilled!! Any word on when they may be able to send her home with you?

Sorry to hear about your back. Hopefully you get some answers soon. The last thing you need to deal with right now is a bad back.

Andrea--hope the MRI reveals that there isn't more damage and that you will heal quickly so you can get back to normal life and not be in pain! Little Madison is gorgeous and we are all so thankful she's gaining weight and that you can finally hold her! Get better soon!!

Awwwwww, it makes me cry every time I watch her videos but they are happy tears. She is such a miracle baby. Keep them comming. I love hearing the updates from you.
