whats yours? we dont have the space now, but when we more he will be about 5 mths. so i figure he can still have nursery then. my girls have a surfer girl room. and they are getting a cool captains bunk beds. so at first i the lil man to have a brown zebra room, dh vetoed. he said rockets or pirates. found some great pirate stuff but the rocket stuff was blah! so (sorry for thr ramble) sinc eim on bedrest my crafty mind wonders. and i came up with this..... pac-man. i could do the crib set in solid bold colors and put a pac-man on the wall chaseing ghost, fruit and such around the room. it some pac man other stuff. i tinit would be a great room for a little boy. and the crib turns into a full bed so he could keep the room for awhile. paint name letters wth pac man stuff. i think it will look great

so since i see it in my head i dont have a pic but can you share your rooms

We're not doing a "theme" persay... we are just doing colors. We're using light pink, white and light sage green. I'm not a huge fan of character themese (not dissing anyone who is!!).. so we are sticking with the colors. That way I figure it'll be easy to "grow" her room with her. We're not starting the nursery until after Christmas though!

I LOVE PacMan.. I think that idea is adorable!!

we have been going back and forth I don’t think we will really know until we buy the paint and put it on the wall. At first we were going with a tan-ish color with white trim and accessories (the crib we are getting is white), then we were thinking of ships, and monkeys on little island, tomorrow we may change again???

We aren't so much into the "Themes" either, more just colors. My DD's room based off her PBK bedding set. This little one's Nursery has green walls, white furniture and her bedding is green (same color as the walls, random how that worked out) and has hot pink polka dots, so the colors will be shades of pink and the green (wall color).

Here is the bedding, so this gives you an idea on the color green I was talking about, greens are hard to describe.

That is SO cute! We're doing something very similar. We've got different shades of pink and light green dots to go on the walls as well. The walls are going to be extremely light pink (almost can't tell it's pink until you put something white or pink next to it, then the pink pops). We're also doing all white furniture.

Here's our bedding Smile

Sarina - Oh I love it!!!

We used super light pink on 3 of my DD's walls and a super hot pink on the fourth wall, and you couldn't tell the 3 walls were pink until we put white frames on the walls..it looks great though Smile If I do say so myself!! HA.

That sounds absolutely adorable!! Aniras' room is pretty narrow, but pretty long... so I dont think the 3 walls one color, 1 wall another color would work well, although I love that idea. The one wall is mainly just a 'window' wall met by the side of the closet. It's hard to explain. It used to be (way back when) a porch.. then it was closed off, insulated and made into a bedroom.. if that makes sense. I just can't wait till after Christmas so we can start painting!

Yeah we were so excited that our furniture arrived on Wednesday, but it was damaged!!!!!! However the Crib was okay, so we put that together and I am going to run upstairs and wash the sheets so I can make the bed, I cannot wait Smile I can't wait to put the wall monogram up, but we haven't told our parents yet what her name is, and were planning on holding off until Christmas Day, but I think my Mom snooped and knows...
