Forgetting what its like to not be tired
I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. My hubby got home late from work (like 1:00am), which woke me up. Then I had to get up early to take the cat to get microchipped. When I got home, I realized that my DH left his cell phone at home, so I took it to him a work. Between the 6 hours of sleep, cat and DH phone delivery I feel like I am about to fall over. I actually had to sit down and take a moment while delivering the phone.
I am beginning to forget what it is like to not be so damn tired. I had grandiose plans of working on my graduate thesis today, but now all I can bring myself to do is lie on the couch I am now officially in the second trimester (yay!) and I feel a lot better (no headaches, only occasional nausea etc) but I am still dragging. Its like if I don't get at least 9-11 hours of sleep each night I can barely function the next day.

I know what you mean. Some days I feel like the old me (plus a ten pounds and a belly) and then some days I am on the couch all day long. I have stopped feeling guilty because I have the perfect excuse. I am usually running around nonstop and in the last couple of month slowed down considerably. My house is a disaster and I just dream about it being organized in time for the baby's arrival. With my first pregnancy I tried to do everything and ended up really tired. Now I am taking a nine month vacation for myself. I have an entire lifetime to get the rest done!

I haven't felt rested since March of 2007 before I got pregnant with my dd. She's 9 months now, she started sleeping through the night in time for me to start waking up to pee every night at 1am & 5am. I never seem to be able to find time to catch up on sleep or my house work and I know it's going to get worse the further I get in my pregnancy. Did I mention that we are in the process of buying a house and close at the end October? I don't know what we are thinking!

pregnant is the best time to move. i have been pregnant everytime we have moved and its awesome. i get to just stand in the middle of the floor telling people where what goes. the first time DH was like you can put the boxes from the bathroom in the truck..I was like uhh no, I'm bossin today I cant lift any of this crap. lol I didnt either...I unpacked it when we got to the new house but didnt lift not one finger moving it. Awful I know but hey...there are some situations that just called for the pregnancy card.
