Halloween costumes!!!
Anyone going to be dressing up, or dressing up the kiddies!?
I am not in dress up mood (I am normally so into Halloween!). I feel like I can't whore it out with a preggo belly. I would have loved to dress up in my nun costume (pregnant nun), but my friend ruined my nun costume....so I am without.
DS wants to be SpongeBob, and me being last minute decided to make his costume. I was thinking of doing something likethis for him.
He BETTER like it. He's 3, and he is such a stubborn typical 3 yo old!
What are you (or child(ren)) dressing up as for Halloween?

Re: Halloween costumes!!!
We're going to a halloween party and I really didn't want to buy a new costume so I was hoping the one I bought two years ago still fit so I tried it on last night and it does! Thank goodness its stretchy...but you can obviously see my belly...haha! I'm going to be a knocked up pirate.
Re: Halloween costumes!!!
We went to our Halloween party last weekend as a pregnant 50s housewife and the milk man. DH carried a beer bottle six pack holder that he'd covered in white paper that said "Baby Daddy Milk...we 'do' your body good." It was pretty funny. DD is going as Dora the Explorer tomorrow.
Re: Halloween costumes!!!
We dont celebrate Halloween but i am letting the kids invite friends over for a party. We are just going to eat hot wings, pizza bites, chips, soda and take out pizza. After i figured i would do a pinata with the little ones and let the older kids play man hunt. Today is my dd's bday.. she is 12... so kinda combined.

LGTWifey,
You are soo right! I always buy things out of season. I bought all my Xmas decorations after Xmas last year, and I plan to buy a costume after Halloween this year. I have a Superman costume for my son, but it is still to big for him, that I bought for a few dollars after Halloween.
I am making my son a costume, he's gonna be spongebob. That's what he kept asking for, and me being last minute momma could not find a spongebob costume anywhere. So I am going to improvise.

Re: Halloween costumes!!!
12 yo dd: she had a Girl Scout party to go to and the theme was dress as your favorite salad dressing. She chose ranch, so she was a cowgirl.
7 yo dd: a grey cat. My mom made the costume for my sister, who wore it back in 1989. The costume looks new!
5 yo dd: a leopard. My mom made the costume for ME!!! I wore it about 35 years ago, then my cousin wore it a few years after me. Can you believe it has held up after all these years?!
4 yo ds: Winnie the Pooh.
