Back from my ultrasound....

Just got back from my ultrasound. My doctor wanted me to have another one because I was measuring 3 weeks ahead. Ultrasound says two weeks ahead but going to keep my dates the same. She said just probably be a big baby. Baby is about 3lbs 14oz. I'm 29 weeks 6 days. She said she can see alot of hair! So excited to meet him!!

Wow! Sounds like he will be big baby! Are you going to upload the pictures?

I am so jealous that your OB wanted to check the size using an U/S, mine is soooo not worried about me having a big baby that she won't order another U/S....

mine won't either, and I tried at my last appt to get him to order another one, because honestly I want to make sure about gender! He said no! and he doesn't think that I am too big ... so, i guess i'll be waiting till delivery day or if i need a nonstress test with u/s.

Mine didnt want to order another U/S either so I asked him about it and he said at our next apt. (Jan 19) He will try to sneak us into the U/S room just for fun so we can do the whole 3D thing without paying!

ur lucky... i'm jealous!!! My doc doesn't have u/s in their office oh well --I'll get over it. We don't really have the money to pay for one right now, my mom offered... i'm not sure if i'm gonna take her up on it yet..... we'll see

My doctor mentioned at my last appt. that I will get another u/s before delivery just so they can estimate the size!!

mine said he'd be able to get a pretty good estimate at about 36 weeks!! I don't know --- whatever

Yeah mine isn't into using an U/S to guage size, she said only if she thought it would really change her "plan" and since I delivered a large baby without a problem she isn't concerned. I hate to remind her that she is 2+ pounds off with her estimate...
