birth-announcements again

since we have been on the jounery together, is there a place where everyones address is? I would like to send a birth accouncement to you ladies. I would love to see you little babies to. Im not sure how ppl see about giving out their address, i just though I put this out there and see

I think that's a fantastic idea! I think that someone should be 'in charge' of gathering the names (through private message or email) and make a list of all willing participants. That way we dont have to worry about who has who's address and who still needs whos address - we can all have the same list. I for one, am ok with sharing my address with you ladies. Afterall, I can not physically live in my Post Office box, so I'm not too worried about being stalked by it..hehe.
If you dont want the job (since you are the master mind behind it...hehe) Ayana, I'd be more than willing to volunteer!

Ok I will keep track of everyone's address. I stay at home so no big deal. I will get them all gathered through email and post them once everyone is done. Maybe like Feb 1st. Just email me at:

I was thinking of scanning in my announcement and posting it on here, what do you all think of that idea, so we can save money on postage?

I think that's a really good idea. I submitted my address, but you're right, it would definitely cut down on postage AND on buying extra announcements. I would still love to get them from anyone that wants to send, but posting them on an announcement thread in a few months is a great idea!

sorry i wasnt feeling good this week. i have no prob with someone else taking on the job. im more of an idea kind of person. and since im not here everyday it might be better to have someone else gather the address.

Just wanted to ask since anyone googling can read these posts. Will the addresses be emailed to us all or posted on the board? I'd like to participate but have no interest in my address being out here for the world to see, ya know?

I gave my address too, but definitely dont want it posted here. And I agree Jamie, it's always nice to receive something other than bills & ads in the mail!!
I'm pretty positive the plan is for Jamie to email all participants the list, once it's completed.

No nothing will be posted on here which is why I posted my email address. That way once we get a final list I can email the list to each person, I am saving each email I get so I will still have the email addresses.
Also this board is private, so does it come up when googling??? I know I could not pull anything up before I signed up.
Off to do some googling.
ETA: I did a google search and it took me to the log in page. So we can still vent about our dh's and mil's and be safe
