Ok I am trying to get this baby out.

I called my midwife at my OB'S office and begged her to let me try Castor Oil today. I told her I would try just 2 oz at a time for today only and see what happenes.

So I just did my first shot of it at 3:30. I also cleaned myself out today with an enemia so the Castor Oil can do the trick. So wish me luck. I am so wanting to get this kid out of me. I have had such a shit week that I just want to have my baby now.

girl i am right there with you!!! i was tring to get DH to DTD last night but he is already sooooo paranoid about hurting the baby that after i told him i was 1 1/2 cm dialated he refused to touch me last night lol.. hes such a baby! im tempted to try the castrol oil myself.. i am so swollen today and tired that i just want this child NOW!!

Jenni the trick with the oil is to do the enemia first. That way you get cleaned out good and fast.

It's been 45 minutes and nothing yet.

how long does it take to kick in? BTW--did you notice your ticker this week??

Our midwife this week said that castor oil is a safe thing to try, but only once just because it's so hard on your system. I hope it does the trick! I don't know if I'll ever be desperate enough to try it.

Well I am having contractions. They are about 15 minutes apart. However I am still able to do laundry and everything else with them so I am guessing they will ease off as the night goes on. Oh well it was worth a try. I was going to do another dose at 6:30, but I am pretty tired so I just skipped it. I am playing my contractions a little worse to dh, so I don't have to do baths and I can go to bed early.

Sorry to hear the news! At least you can milk it with your DH for a while. They don't know the difference! Your little one must be cozy in there. I just had a talk with mine but he is not listening either.
