Another shower

Looks like a lot of us are having them now

Mine was this weekend. It was great. We got a ton of clothes and everyone actually gave gift receipts so exchanges were easily made (when necessary). I've got everything, put together, washed and put away. I actually feel ready for little Lily. It's a good feeling. Here's a link to my photos from the shower:

Thanks everyone. My husband and I are both "get it done" kind of people so I didn't take a photo of the pile of stuff. I'll have to take a photo of the closet and drawers (they're getting pretty full). When we got home at 9 that night, we unpacked and had sorted everything so I just ran to the stores the next day. There was so much food leftover! My only regret is that I didn't take more dessert home with me. We polished it off last night.

YUMMMYYYY the food looks so good!! And Im sitting here waiting on a frozen pizza to get done.

That cheese platter looks to die for. I was so excited about my Pringles 10 for $10 deal at Kroger today, but now that Cheese Platter is making my mouth water, I want it right this very second.

And about the wipes - it all depends on how much Little Lily poops....

The cheese platter was great. I had a lot to take home - havarti, cheddar, meunster, cheddar, swiss and pepperjack. I feel guilty about eating cheese because I always pay (it slows things down), but I am a big fan of it. Oh and for what it's worth, I'm jealous of your pringles!!!

I got a lot of useful stuff and was so thankful for everything, but I really got a ton of clothes (very cute I might add). I did take some of them back and ended up spending about $400 (in refunds, gift cards and cash) yesterday on everything from carseat protectors and bottles to burp cloths and baby meds. I wanted to make sure I had the essentials covered!

There were some weird hiccups with the registry at babies-r-us too. Like my mom bought us a baby monitor, but it wasn't the one we registered, but it still marked the one on my registry as purchased . And when I took it back yesterday and exchanged it for the one on my registry, it marked it as me now having 2 of that monitor. WEIRD!

I am upset with how babiesrus has handled my registry. I am hoping to go there tomorrow to get a few things and talk to them. Not that it will make much difference, except make me feel better to vent, lol. People bought stuff off of my registry and none of it was marked as bought. I just went on my registry today deleting the stuff that people have already bought me.

Jeni...that dessert tray and fruit tray look divine!! YUMMY! I am glad you had a great time at your shower and you guys got what you needed. From the looks of it your DH and my DH had the same idea about their beverage of choice at the shower!! You are so organized...I wish I had Alyssa's clothes done....they are still in a pile to be done! I will do it Wed. on my day off!
I will get your gift out to you next week.
