SNOW my God----PIC'S ADDED-----MORE PIC'S ADDED

Well I woke up to about 6 inches of snow today, and it is still falling. That is part 1 of this winter strom. It is suppose to stop snowing around 10am. Then around 5pm(part 2) we are suppose to get a wintery mix which is turing into more snow. They said we could expect up 10-12 more inches.

So Jared had a 2 hour delay yesterday.
No school today.
I am sure he will be out the next couple days or at least a delay.

I will post pictures here in a bit.

Yeah.. I can imagine! We are getting this storm tomorrow. We are expecting 6-10 or 8-12" depending on what station I watch. I dont really want it.. so if you can just send it south i would be happy! Gee what are friends for? lol

I think we're supposed to get that storm tonight. they were saying something like 3-6 of snow, and then icy rain, so we'll have a nice coat of about 1/4 in of ice over the snow....
that's what I heard on the radio yesterday, but I don't know if they added more to their expectations yet... probably

We haven't had snow here in forever. Today everything has shut down. We have ice and some snow. More freezing rain tonight..uugghh. I will take snow any day over this ice. I had to cancel my drs appt. Not going anywhere in this mess.

I know we had our 1st round and this afternoon 2nd round is coming. I HATE winter.

I know you girls hate it, but I'm SO jealous!!! Ava got to see her first snow last January but it wasn't even an inch! Although, I guess this isn't really a good time for any of us to get snowed in! Yikes!

Jillian--they said 1-3 inches this morning with Ice on top. Starting around rush hour tonight, getting heavier around 10PM. I hate snow!

We don't get snow here in Sacramento, Ca. I wish it would! I hate going to the snow, but if it snowed on my house all day and I could just sit and watch I would be in heaven.

Well I figured they would call school off here, but HELL NO!!! I had to get out and go to the store this morning and the roads are BAD!!! I'm not sure I want to put Brock on the bus at noon, because if I don't feel safe getting out and taking him to school when why in the HELL would I let a school bus take him. It is STILL snowing and sleet here....

We are just getting rain here, but most schools to the North and West (towards where Dee lives) are all closed today, but my county has school today. I have my Doctor's Appointment this afternoon, nothing is keeping me away from that, I will get my snowshoes out if I have to.

So I was watching Birth Day this morning on Discovery Health, this woman was measuring 42W at 35W, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And they induced her right at 38W and her child was only 8lbs 13oz (I am sure you guys are thinking.....ONLY, that is huge). So why in the world is my OB totally fine with me having another 10lb 9oz child? And how in the world did I not measure big at all with Olivia and produce a overweight first grader?

It's snowing here in Seattle again (only like 1/8 of an inch so far) but we only average like 3-4 inches a winter, and it snowed 14 last month alone! I love snow because we don't get much, but it shuts our whole city down. If it starts really sticking, I'll have to go back home. Our buses don't run well in the snow, and I'm NOT going to stay at work overnight.

You reminded me.. I have no idea when my apt is. I just my son get my purse.. Feb 3rd. Most likely i will get my strep b test that day. But anyway.. Grayson was my biggest baby at 8 lbs 11 oz. So yes i think that its HUGE! His head was 14 1/4" big! OUCH!!! I didnt tear though and did well.. but OMG was it really hard to push him out and it friggin hurt!!! I cant imagine 10 lbs 9 oz! I hope you can slap your doctor into letting you go 2 weeks early. You might end up with a 8lber. You could always strip your own membranes and hope you go into labor Use evening primrose up there to soften things up.. Just a thought! Hugs

i get less then April but I still hate the snow no matter what its the hassle of driving in it, shoveling (first year i don’t have to thank you baby). i'll have to wait n see how it goes tomorrow hopefully they will cancel work, fingers crossed.

I havent brought logan to school cause its too cold out! Okay so im being lazy! I dont want to go out this week at all.. cancelled all my apts for the week too. hehe

Well DH and I talked and we don't feel it is safe to put Brock on the bus in this weather. I sent his teacher an e-mail letting her now why he wouldn't be there.

We got it last week when Dee and Rochelle were suppose to get it in VA. We got about 3 inches at my house. It was nice and pretty, but trust me...I don't drive in the snow and ice. I don't know how and stubborn me don't want to learn. Our schools were out for 3 days straight last week!

The picture of the toy car cracks me up. I picture a little kid in work clothes shoveling it out to get to work!

Here are some new ice pic's.

Total snow fall yesterday was 8 inches.
Total ice was 2.5 inches.
It snowing again and we have 4 inches right now, and it is suppose to go till 10pm tonight.

The snowflakes are huge and coming so fast you can barely see out side. It is a mess.

If you look at the tree pictures you can get an idea of how much ice we got as the trees are hanging super low and even on the ground,

Omg Jamie, Im glad im not there. We lucked out with our second round as it went south of us. I am so ready for spring!!!

Ready for spring here...Supposed to get a foot today.. all kids home.. suffering from a really bad stiff neck... dh is at work.. i didnt sleep...

Yeah no snow for us! Which I was actually glad...I'm like you I don't like driving in the snow & ice. They did close ALL the schools that day in anticipation for that "snow storm" lol
