I got the flu shot today.

I was not going to because there is so much going back and forth on it. I just figured it safer not to get it. However having the flu 2 times with in 2 months really changes your mind. I could not even go through that again. So I asked about it today and she said yes if I want to and I said yes. She also said since I had the flu twice it was a good idea to get it. Now my arm is in pain. Why could they have not given it to me in my nice padded butt?????

So anybody else get one this season???

I had mine back in October. So far so good. Knock on wood! I had pneumonia twice last winter am so fearful of having it when I am pregnant. The colds I have had have not turned into anything major thank goodness.

I also had mine in October and everyone in my office has been sick but me!!!

I had mine back in October as well...no sickness for me yet - WAHOO.

I'm another October, and I haven't even had a cold this pregnancy (knock on wood!). Good for you, but I remember the stiff arm. It'll be better in a few days.

I got the shot back in Oct. Sad to say, I just am getting over the flu right now. I mean, yesterday was the first day since sunday I've been able to eat anything. And I NEVER knew chicken noodle soup could move straight through a person so quickly!! I know its a TMI, but I'm still trying to get over the poops and tiredness.

I hope to god or anyone who has the power to prevent it, that noone else gets it!! Man was that miserable!!

The worst part, my DH actually got me a great xmas present of a spa day where he even got the sitter ahead of time. I had to cancel and reschedule for today. I got my massage, but the other stuff that came with it, I have to do another time b/c that person went on vacation. So, my DH told me I was not allowed to come home for at least 2 hours after my massage b/c he was trying to let me have some "I'm not a Mom, I'm a woman" time.
