Pregnancy symptoms/problems
I am posting to see if what’s happening to me is normal. I am getting nose bleeds several times everyday. This may sound gross but sometimes it just runs down the back of the throat and ends up making me sick. I am also having terrible back aches. I am also having a hard time getting the proper amount of calories every day. Before I was pregnant I only ate about 1200-1600 calories a day. I have read that you should eat an additional 300-500 calories a day while you are pregnant. Does that mean over the normal 2000 or just 300-500 more than you normally would have.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Re: Pregnancy symptoms/problems
Nosebleeds are completly normal and if you think the backaches are bad now...wait till your belly is sticking out 2 feet further than your boobs do. As for calories its more than what you normally consume. My doc told me to eat something like a PB&J sandwich for a snack and that would be plenty. I haven't been at all hungry lately though he also said thats normal and to try and eat but not to worry to much because you will start feeling bad before the baby suffers because your body is gonna take everything you need and give it to the baby whether you eat or not so really eating more during the day is for your benefit not the babys.
