April have your lights came back on and stayed???

hey April i know we are in for it tomorrow or at least that is what the weatherman is saying I hope that you lights are on all day and night now???[justify]

Hi Thanks for asking. We are in for a huge storm tomorrow! We got power late Sunday... so 3 days in the dark. Honestly the no electricity wasnt bad...it was more the no heat thing. There are still a ton of people in my area without power. The storm should hit us here around 11:30-12noon or so. Stay warm!

I know they cancelled BPS schools already. I remembered that you didn't have lights and could only imagine you and your crew in the house tomorrow with no lights, so I’m happy to hear that they came back on.

I saw that on the news tonight. We havent had school all week.. nor for the next 2 weeks for vacation. My 2 high schoolers were supposed to have school mon and tue but the storm might knock off mon for them.

Sarina I hear you with the white Christmas, and I’m so happy that this year I don't have to shovel YAY!!!
I am at work but I have been telling the parents to come pick up there children around 1:00pm so me and my staff can get home. I will be traveling from Boston in the south end (where I work) to Randolph (were I live), no fun on the highway with traffic.

While I don't want to lose power, I am so jealous of you all having a White Christmas, all of my friends in Western Mass are getting tons of snow (like April), but here in Richmond we won't get a single flake...

We got hit Wednesday night by a snowstorm, and it kept snowing all day yesterday. It's very rare for snow to stick here in Seattle (especially by the water), but it hasn't warmed up at all. It's so pretty and it gives me an excuse to work from home! I "worked" from home yesterday (when DH and I weren't out playing in it) and I'm "working" from home again today. I think I'm actually more productive here these days, but that's not really saying much.

Oh, and we're supposed to have snow on and off through Christmas, which is also pretty unheard of. It's very nice to cuddle up under a big blanket with my hubby, and now I can wear whatever footwear I want!

We got 12 inches dumped on us overnight. The kids are off now for a snow day (all 4 of them go to school). It stinks, because it was their last day before Christmas break and now they are all not getting their winter parties. I hope the schools will let them have those parties during the first week back. I also didn't get the teacher gifts send in with them yesterday, so those will be given the first day back.
