Gluclose test

If you ended up failing your test did your Dr call you? If so what was the time frame?

I took mine on 12/5 and it is now 12/16. I always go by no news is good news, but I have this nagging feeling in my head.

So I called today and the nurse looked at my chart. She said so you had this on the 5th and you have not gotten a call? I said yes. She said ok, then all should be fine. I asked what that means and she said she could not give my info out over the phone with the OB saying she could. My OB was gone for the day, but told me not to worry since the results came in last week.

So to me it seems like she was saying that I passed the test, in the only way she could say it. Is that what it sounds like to you? She has a note for the OB to give me a call or for her to call back Thursday.

Thats so messed up that she cant share whats in your chart with you. I have been a bad girl and not taken mine yet.

My doctor always tells me if I don't hear from him everything is fine. It sounds like to me your results are probably fine but I know what you mean about wanting to know the results. I would want a call from my OB if you don't feel right about the test. You said they are suppose to call Thursday so that should set you my mind at ease.

Thats what it sounds like to me but I don't like the "no news is good news". I want to be sure that someone looked at my results and called me either way.

That said, I take my test on Monday and have an appt on 12/31 so I'm sure I'll find out then, if not before.

Yeah, my doctor always tells me she'll only call if something came back negative. I would still like to hear from her even if everything was okay, though. So I know what yah mean!

With my last pregnacy I had a wierd feeling about the strep b test... ya know towards the end. Welll one of the girls at my doc's office spelled my name wrong and turned out there was a girl in the office with my name misspelled! well, I made them do the test over!! I didn't want to take any chances, turned out everything was fine.

btw my mom works for Quest so she's the one that found the mistake otherwise I would have never known, I told my doc he was pissed at the girls. oh well--- always double check dob!! not that this has ANYTHING to do with ur situation.

Thanks ladies. My OB called this morning and said things are fine. He said after 4 babies with us you should know I would call you. I said I know I know.

I think since this the forth and I know so much more now I just over think it.
