sorry but I have to vent

I had a day today. first i wake up early b/c i have a 10:00 meeting, and lately have not been able to get into work on time (10:00) and i did not want to be late. i left the house at 8:45 my normal ride is anywhere from after nine to a lil after 10:00. i did not get to work until 10:30 today, because of taffic. I know that some parts of MA where bad but i live in the southern part and was only driving to the city that amount of traffic made no sense at all.

work went fine but after sitting in traffic for so long I was so unmotivated to do anything but i made it through the day

i get off of work and i have a flood of messages on my cell phone from my mom, and one of my brothers. I call my mom and she tells me that my dad is in the hospital. I of course yell at her because she did not call me at work (i don't answer my cell phone at work). she says some stuff but i'm worried and mad. I go to the hospital of course there is a wait to see him. get in to the ER to see him, and they are not sure what the problem is, he has had a CT, and all their test are saying that he is okay, but he is complaining about stomach pain. the dr after like 3 hrs finial comes in and tells us that every test that they have done has come back fine, but they are waiting on the urine, thye say they are going to keep him over night, and of course it takes another 2 hours for them to get him to his room. by the time he gets to his room its after 10. I know that they are not going to do anything but keep him comfortable, so i know that I can leave soon. I get him comfortable, leave my number and information with the nurse, and then head home.

my sweet little man (dh) calls and ask if he can get me anything to eat so i would have it when i get home he calls around 10:30. I settle on wings from outback and a bake potato. i get home and he is out getting the food, but he calls back to tell me that outback is closed, so I state that i don't want anything, as i'm crying on the phone not because of the very bad day but because outback is CLOSED.

Sorry it was such a rough day! I hope that your dad is ok. Everything is just plain harder when you are pregnant. I say that you go to Outback tomorrow and eat, eat, eat! You deserve it. Hope tomorrow is a better one.

I will keep your dad in my thoughts and I hope he gets well soon. I totally understand crazy days like that. Things are so much harder to deal with when you are pregnant. I cry often and my poor hubby just doesn't understand.

I hope your Dad is OK. Things are so much crazier when you are pregnant. It is the only time you can be extremely moody and blame it on the hormones! Tell DH to take you to Outback today....tell them they should have been open last night and eat, eat, eat girlfriend. I hope things are better today.

thank you ladies everything is working out with my dad they are going to keep him until monday, but they are not to concerned.
