I have not been feeling my baby girl move around that much lately... all test came back fine, though. She has all her fingers and toes. She was really active around 22-23 weeks, and it's been dwindling. Makes me feel like there is something wrong. There most likely isn't, but I feel like there is. I've been anxiously waiting for my next appointment on the 26th... I just need to hear her heartbeat and for the doctor to tell me everything is okay. This is so stressful Neutral

If you're noticing less movement, you should call your doctor today. They want to know if movement slows down, so I wouldn't wait another week. I'm sure she's fine, and maybe you've just been busy and haven't noticed, but that is one thing you don't want to mess around with. At this point, doctors can help you and the baby, so call and put your mind at ease. Don't hesitate! That's what your doctor is for.

Good luck!

As the baby gets bigger they run out of room. So kicking slows a bit. However you are still at the stage where you be feeling kicks. I really only feel mine whe I am laying or sitting down resting. Tat is when they wake up because the movement is gone.

Kick counts should be at least 10 per hour. That is pretty much if you lay down to rest. If you are moving around they are kinda hard to feel.

So try an veg for an hour and do a kick count. If it comes up less then 10 give your OB a call and see what they say.

I felt the exact same way yesterday, realized I hadn't felt her move at all, and then I did a little, but the last two days have been slower and I was getting worried too.

Try drinking a glass of orange juice and then lay down on your left side. If you don't notice any difference, call your ob. See if you can get in and the dr can use the doppler.

If u are really concerned call ur doc. Maybe she's just getting a lil lazy. As long as ur still notice some movement, I know when I am moving around I don't feel kicks. usually only when I'm sitting or laying.

I didn't realize u were supposed to do the 10 kick thing this early, I thought that was later on in the preg.

If you are really worried, call your doctor. I feel my daughter every couple of hours. I do feel her more after I eat or when I am lying down and change positions. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Hmmm yeah I've definitely noticed reduced activity the last couple of days, but I think it's because I've been less active. I'm not too concerned about it. I just drink a coke and she gets active. Only a few times have I felt her when laying down and I am unable to distinguish a kick from just general movement. I think it's probably just different for each mom and baby. I say if you're really worried, call your doctor.

I'm not sure if the 10 kick per hour thing is different for every pregnancy or not??

My DR said that I dont need to start monitoring that until 28-30 weeks?? I specifically asked him last appt, and that was his answer..

Hmmmm Question I'm a first timer, so I really dont know...

I have heard the same thing. I feel mine a lot and I don't keep track of how often. Maybe I should start.
