So this is so my fault. Well one part. I did not go to the grocery store Friday night becasue of Trick or Treating, and Saturday and Sunday we had plans. So yes that was my fault.

So Sunday around 5:30 I ran to the post office to drop off our absentee ballots so they would get post marked today. We had no food, well not the right stuff to make a meal that would go together. So dh brought up fried chicken before I left. I told him I was not feeling that, but would take care of it while I was out. Well he did not here that part. Evil or Very Mad So I stop at the store and got some stuff to make conies with. He threw a fit. I mean refused to eat them. He was acting like a 5 year old really. So here me and the kids are all sitting down to a nice dinner and he is huffing and puffing over this not being the dinner he wants.

Really the man gets his dinner cooked for him and he acts lke a kid. All I wanted to do was punch him in the face. Twisted Evil

Sorry to hear your having a hard time with dh. I have come to the conclusion that dh's also go through many pregnancy sympathy pains including mood swings and hormonal changes. Mine gets hungry late in the evening, goes pee more often, lazy at times, mood swings for sure and weird sleeping patterns! He even put on a few pounds!

I would have put my hands up and said.. I am not a mind reader... im sorry i didnt have the house stocked.. but i am only one person and we had other things that needed to get done. I will make it a point to go shopping this evening. Is there anything in particular you would like me to get for you since you didnt get what you wanted tonight?

Make him feel like his opinion really counts.. even though it doesnt because he is acting like the child.. but you cant stooop to his level... be the bigger person and set a reasonable compromise. Smile

oooh, those are always fun situations! sounds like his feelings were hurt over the miscommunication, and dinner just happened to be the circumstance. i would try to talk with him to get to the root cause of any issues that are underlying his reaction... otherwise those are the kinds of things that can fester and come back to bite you harder later!

good luck!!
