Ultrasound in an hour

My Intended Parents and I can't wait to find out the sex!! And if its healthy!! DUH!! I'll write more tonight after I'm finally home for the day! I have ultrasound in one town, have to drive 40 miles the other way to go pick up my kids so my DD's can get to dance class back in the same town!! Urgh, but I signed up for it!!

Well, we they are having a boy! The way he was laying they wern't sure if they were going to be able to tell the sex, but then they got a good inbetween the legs shot. There was NO mistaking boy!!

I don't have pictures yet. They're printer was broken but they did put it on a cd and as soon as they get home, they're going to email me some of them.

One of the coolest parts was, the US tech told me to turn on my side to try and get a better angle for the ultrasound. We watched as the baby basically slid into a better position!! They did some shots of 3D, which had my IP's crying! It was so nice to hear L saying "oh J look at that" over and over. And J just couldn't stay in his chair, he had to be close to the moniter so he could see everything! Big sis got a look too (got a peak at the boy parts too!! )

Overall, I am soo happy for them. You would so love these IP's. You see them being great parents to the children they have, and how wonderfully they treat me. This baby is going to be so lucky!

PS. I know this is a regular pregnancy board, but the surro one was soo non existant of BBC that I just needed some pregnancy people around. I hope I don't offend anyone by my talk of this surro pregnancy.

Congrats! I love to hear about your situation. I have never known a surrogate before- and i was tearing up to hear how much joy you are bringing into this couple's life. I think it is really special what you are doing for them.

Congrats! In more ways then one!! My bff did a suro for a family.. she had triplet girls in Jan. She is getting ready to do it again! It is a beautiful thing you are doing for them.

Cant wait to hear more.. and dont feel like a third wheel or weird.. you are more then welcome and fit right in!

For all the wonderful replies. I know it might sound odd to some, but I just can't wait to make J a father and give L's kids a sibling! I know its pregnancy hormones, but I still tear up thinking about J watching the US! It was just so touching!
