I know this is crazy and dumb, but I am sitting here crying my eyes out thinking about my u/s. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. I want another girl so bad I am crying over it. I know once the baby comes(even if a boy) I will be fine, but I just really want another girl. When ever anybody post's they are having a girl a couple random tears fall down my face. Sad

I try and talk to my dh about, but he tells me not to worry. He knows it will be a girl. So he is no help. He also told me my 2 year old boy would be a girl. So for the last 14 weeks I have kept this bottled up till now. It is like I can not hold it anymore and I just blew up.

With all 3 of my kids I knew what they would be as soon as I pee'd on the stick. With this one I just go back and forth. My girl feeling comes more, but I do not know if that is because I want one so bad or just my real feeling like always popping through.

I know this sounds so petty, because there are people out there that have gone through so much to have a baby. Or people that are not able that would give anything to have one or the other. So I feel like a horrible person even feeling this way. The baby is such a blessing. This is an IUD baby due March 20th which is grandma's b-day. My grandma passed away last year and I feel like she was the one that gave us this gift.

Ok I am rambling on and I need do get some things done.

I went through gender dissapointment 2x. I dreaded/anticipated my u/s with this baby. I had a feeilng that it was a girl because of my nub u/s but thats not 100%. I kept telling dh to help me not get too attached to it being a girl and prepare for a boy. I even prayed over it. And i had all the same feelings you expressed and more. I kept them to myself for so long because what type of mom would i be being upset over having a boy? I didnt know this was normal. I am right there with you.. i know how your feeling.. and if i could be there with you and give you a big hug either way afterwards i would! Im sorry you are feeling so sad. I do understand how you feel. Me and dh got together and I already had 3 dc. 2girls and 1 boy which he has raised with me for the past 13 years. We had our 1st together 12 years ago and we didnt mind it being a girl. Then I decided I would try again 10 years later for a boy for him. We found out twin girls. The dissapointment was so great as I was planning on getting fixed after their birth. Dh was a bit sad but just happy no matter what they were. Well with all the problems of the birth and loseing one twin dr didnt fix me. So here I am again pg. Ok, now REALLY hoping for boy noy only to give to my dh but for me also as I only have 1 boy and he's a senior now. Ultrasound came and another girl. Dang!!! This is it for me period!!! But I was upset for no boy. I am diffenatly fine with it all now, as I love her growing inside of me and she's healthy. Im sure I will always have that place in my heart for another boy, but I guess God has plans for us with girls for some reason. He knows best!! I pray you get your girl, but if not trust in God that he has he right plan for your family.
Please take care and we will all be waiting to hear results on Tuesday!!
Big hugggggsssss for you, Andrea

My DH was a little disappointed with another girl, but I have to say I am fine with it, actually thrilled that my DD will have a sister for the rest of her life. I can understand where you are coming from, I am sorry you are going through this emotional rollercoaster, hopefully you get the news you are hoping for. Smile

So sorry that your feel so sad. Hopefully your dreams will come true at your U/S. appt. I was wanting another boy (I love boys). We are having a girl.
I have grown to accept it and even look forward to it.
But noone can tell you that your feelings no matter the reason are wrong. Your feelings are very valid. I hope you get what you are wishing for. I love you
